He's done that before to combat expected (or actual) aerial bombardment towards the end of the game. It's worked when Sarr was involved.AdTheAddicK said:Lennon for Da Silva??? What are you thinking Robbo?
Robinson needs to be accounted for that. Inexcusable1 -
We were doing fine. As others have said, wouldn't be so bad if Lennon wasn't shitJamesSeed said:

But even the all conquering Shrewsbury messed up today, Golfie.golfaddick said:Its funny (not !!) that Shrewsbury have done the exact opposite & picked up loads of points from the 88th min onwards............and thats why they are 2nd in the league & we are 7th.
They were winning, but ended up losing at home to unfancied Plymouth.

Is Lennon really that terrible that you shouldn't bring him on as a sub? Really? Even to deal with an expected aerial bombardment?AdTheAddicK said:Lennon for Da Silva??? What are you thinking Robbo?

So if you take it from the 89th minute we've dropped 11 points then?Callumcafc said:Games with goals scored after 80 minutes that changed the result of the match:
Walsall 2-2 Charlton (Holmes 88' 1-2, Agyei 89' 2-2)
net change: 0
Charlton 2-2 MK Dons (Golbourne OG 87' 2-1, Agard 91' (pen) 2-2)
net change: 0
Charlton 2-2 Peterborough (Holmes 91' (pen) 1-2, Ahearne Grant 94' 2-2)
net change: +1
Charlton 1-1 Blackpool (Gnanduillet 91' 1-1)
net change: 0
Charlton 2-3 Oxford (Kane 89' 2-2, Ledson 94' 2-3)
net change: -3
Charlton 1-1 Doncaster (Blair 94' 1-1)
net change: -5
Overall the net change between 80 mins and 90 mins is -5 points. We did drop five more points from winning positions against Walsall, MK Dons and Blackpool but gained a point against Peterborough.
And gained 1 back v Peterborough.
Pretty fucking shit really as instead of being comfortable in the play offs and on the tails of the top 2, we're chasing 6th and looking over our shoulder at a bunch of mid-table sides chasing us.3 -
Score more goals in the first place and maybe we wouldn't be getting the squeaky bum time. Finish 'em off.4

Even getting playoffs isn’t a huge achievement as you actually have to win them to make them worth while, the squad we have should be getting better results.1

Clearly everybody's other than the manager, so the manager saysSELR_addicks said:Players fault.

Technically we have only lost 3 stoppage time points as the OXford equaliser wasn't stoppage time. So we should be at least 3 points up.0

Was last minute though so we should be seeing the games out from that stage regardless if we're winning or drawingAddickFC81 said:Technically we have only lost 3 stoppage time points as the OXford equaliser wasn't stoppage time. So we should be at least 3 points up.

When I was a manager in youth/boys football, Zzzzzzzzzz with the help of roll on roll off subs I always made sure my strongest 11 were on the pitch in the last 20 minutes. In the last 2 games we have weakened the team shape with the subs. The injuries haven't helped Robbo but his game management in the business end of matches must improve. The problem with putting a CB at LB for just a couple of minutes is if you managed for 92 minutes to keep a clean sheet why risk upsetting the status quo for the last 2 minutes. Inviting pressure when there was no pressure ? Don't defend so deep and you don't risk a deflection to a goal hanger. This is not rocket science. Many managers and head coaches do this. Would like to see the stats on this.0

Yes if games finished at 88:00, we'd be on 57 points instead of 47 points.Chris_from_Sidcup said:
