I don’t know if someone’s pulling an Early April’s fool, my my wife has just had a news alert pop up on her phone saying their is a water shortage in London, and we need to conserve water?
No water for a day now at mine, some households across SW postcodes have been without since Friday. 20,000 households now without.
Went to pick up some free bottles that Thames Water had offered but they had no limit to how many you could take, so some had 8 crates each while mums with babies were turned away empty handed. Ended up buying what we could at Tesco as the shelves had already been emptied.
Absolute fucking disgrace that a country such as ours falls to pieces with some cold weather. Another greedy company paying dividends to it's shareholders rather than investing in it's infrastructure.
It's made me realise how much we take running water for granted.

It's true.
I had a water leak in my road for six months. Literally dozens of telephone calls to get them out.
... Whats water?

"We're asking customers to look at their pipes in their properties and end any unnecessary use of water, such as washing a car," Mr White said.
So those washing their cars largely at fault. Another near useless, irresponsible corporation.
We're no oiks.
