just on the train home now, pretty good game and not really over until the 2 minute warning but sadly @PaddyP17 Bortles just doesnt look up to it, went to ground early, chucked the ball at his receivers more than he passed it and looked throughout like someone who was clinging onto the game as opposed to controlling it.
This Chiefs offence is a joy to watch. Threats from every position
Even if I don't watch them live, I always try to at least watch the Game in 40 highlights of the Chiefs and Rams every week. Such good fun to watch. It feels like this is the team, with Mahomes, that Andy Reid has been building towards his entire career.
Broncos and Chiefs played a fourth quarter like neither wanted to win.
The Chiefs play with Mahomes on a leash all the time. If they let him be himself he'll make Favre look like a game manager. Obviously that contains good and bad.
Packers all over the Rams like a rash in this first quarter.
Lots of pressure on Goff, blitzing from all angles. Let's see how McVay reacts to this. Needs to get the ball out of Goff's hands quicker. Perhaps get Gurley involved more in the passing game.
I wonder how long the defence can keep this up. Entire Rams offense looks rattled. One thing I’ve noticed that’s irked me is the lack of consistency in officiating. Two roughing passer penalties against Denver earlier today (which I didn’t think should’ve been called) and pretty much exactly the same QB hits on Goff gone uncalled, correctly in my opinion.
Looking at the points scored/conceded by the Chiefs (7-1)
We’ve scored 10% more points than the next best of all 32 teams (Rams 8-0)
However we've also conceded the same number of points as the 1-7 Giants. And of all the teams with a winning record, only the Bengals (5-3) have conceded more.
Our offence this season is awesome, we are a threat from so many different positions and the opposition cannot focus on any 1 or 2 players. However, the defence continuously giving up so many points is putting pressure on the offence. They HAVE to score so many points otherwise we won’t win.
Hoping the old football philosophy of “don’t care if you score 4, we’ll score 5” can carry us through.
Quicker we get Berry back at safety the better. Still need other improvements but Berry back is a start

Yeah, he didn't look comfortable at all yesterday. I still think he's not entirely to blame (injuries are still a big issue), but I think the BOAT might have sailed and we need to look for a QB option elsewhere going forward...
Do you guys have a specific team you support? Noticed you’ve all commented in the thread in the past month but I don’t have you on our Charlton Life NFL supporters list
Giants unfortunately after going to the Twickenham game in 2016.
To all you Buccs coaches, fans etc Chewbacca must start a QB for you next week, when he came on he was incredible and very nearly made me the angriest man in Tun Wells!! Great game although it would have helped if I had remembered that the game started an hour earlier, thankfully I had signed up to nfl game pass and was able to watch from the beginning
Snippet from NFL.com on the end of the Packers @ Rams game:
As Greg Zuerlein's kickoff sailed into the end zone, Rodgers fully expected return man Ty Montgomery to kneel down for a touchback, given that the running back had been instructed by his coaches to do just that. Instead, Montgomery caught the ball two yards deep and raced up the middle of the field, crossing the 20 before being met by the Rams' Ramik Wilson. And then, a green-and-gold nightmare: Wilson's hard hit on Montgomery dislodged the football, which the L.A. linebacker would recover under a pile.
Also Todd Gurley then turned down a TD by stopping a yard or two short of the end zone so that time would continue running down, rather than giving the Packers a chance to try a miracle play in the last few seconds.

Can't see Montgomery playing again anytime soon for the Packers!

Yes and no, I kind of follow Seahawks but i am not really a proper supporter. I will check on the results and watch NFL from time to time but in and out and not overly too fussed, main reason is because i enjoyed watching Wilson when he burst onto the scene. Feel free to put me down though
I think @PaddyP17 Will get it tonight unless the Pats sign another running back off the street today. Certainly opens up the league though! Would've helped if Jamies didn't throw 4!!! INTS and Njoku got at least a target from Mayfield.

Here's hoping Kenjon Barner can secure a mighty 3.6 points with Sony Michel out of the picture at the moment.

Offence wins matches, defence wins championships
But top 4 defences are
ravens
Jags
Bills
Cowboys

Rodgers was PISSED when he fumbled.

Paddy win would put 4 players on 6-2 I believe.
I'm still going to be nervous, though!
