A quick question about the London games if anyone can help.
Years ago when the NFL had the American Bowl at Wembley during the 80's (pre season games) you used to be able to go to watch the teams train in the lead up to the match. It was at Crystal Palace athletics track and was free to anyone who wanted to go along. I still have fond memories of shaking Howie Long's hand, not so much of chatting to Jay Schroeder though😊. Is this still an option for fans to go and watch? Any information would be greatly received cheers BBB

I think there is. Someone I know went to watch the Jags train a few years ago but not sure if it was an open session or if he won it.
I think this was coming from very early in the season. No head coach is going to be gutsy enough to fire a defensive or offensive coordinator when you are in contention for a Superbowl place. The general quality and standard of a team occurs during the pre season but you only find out what you've got once the season starts. You can make improvements during the season but really the die is cast. When you see other teams create solid defenses out of next to nothing and your own team does have individual quality but doesn't play as a unit, you know a change needs to be made. If we make the right choice then we should be real contenders next year.
So, how's everyone watching the Super Bowl? Given it's such a late kickoff, is it ever realistically consumed up town on a Sunday night?
When I lived in London I used to go to the Hard Rock Cafe but you have to book that well in advance (used to be £50 a table) but good if you've got a group of you.
For the last few years I've watched it at home with my brother-in-law stuffing our faces with beer and pizza. Much prefer it!
