Crazy Upset in NCAA College Basketball.

Some college named UMBC, University of Maryland Baltimore, just obliterated the #1 team in the USA, Virginia, by 75-54, in the first round of "March Madness." This is probably the biggest upset in NCAA Men's Basketball history.

UMBC came in ranked #111 and they destroyed the #1 team picked to win it all.

To put it in perspective, imagine if the current 111-ranked football club in England, Barrow, knocks out Manchester City in the first round of the FA Cup by a score of 3-1.

Every NCAA Championship bracket in America has been broken. ESPN had 17,300,000 people with bracket picks on it's website. Not one person got it right.

Complete freak. This is first time in 136 games the 16th seed has beaten a first seed ( there are 4 ‘ divisions’ so 4 x 16th seeds in total.

We were in Vegas three years' ago when this basketball 'March Madness' was on. Everywhere you went the big screens were full of it 24/7! Like watching paint dry for me. My brother-in-law loves a gamble but to try and get your head round the thousands of different bets was too much even for him!

Not entirely sure how the March Madness pools work but you don't have to get everything correct.

The odds of a perfect bracket is something like 9 quintillion to one. Seriously.
