Some of you may have come across the sad story in the news previously about the courageous young lady called Sophie Powell who lost a tough battle with cancer. Sophie was local girl from Eltham and comes from a big Millwall supporting family. My sister will be joining the family this weekend (she's friend's of Sophie's parents) and a large group of friends in walking over 50 miles this weekend to all the London Clubs.
I believe they will be at Charlton around midday on Saturday so if you are there early and spot the group please give them a cheer.
If you wanted to make a donation here's the story about Sophie and the fundraising in her name but I also just wanted to tell you about the group that will be at The Valley Saturday lunchtime and why.

So don't forget if you see them tomorrow at the Valley, please give them a wave and if possible throw in a few pound. Mick E is hoping to send some reps down to greet them on their stop at the ground.
Don’t forget.. give them a cheer tomorrow.
And thanks to top man Mick Everett who organised people for the group. Thanks to Bob Bolder and Theo Foley who came out to greet the team and to the BFG who also came out.
Really appreciate that Mick.
I think I’ve done my bit.
Thanks all.
