  • God I hate Spieth...

  • God I hate Spieth...

I'm not alone then. I admit he played a great 4th shot on the 18th but for me it goes back to last years open. In my mind he got away with murder with the "I'll go back 200 yards & get relief from the Sky trucks (that are parked in the practice area) & while I'm about it I'll take 15 mins doing so & disrupt my playing partners rythem ". I wonder what would have happened if he hadn't had been in the last group - hold up the group behind ? (you never see them get waived through)

What a crazy 24 hours for Finau... dislocated ankle yesterday and now -4 with a share of the lead.

I put £2.50 EW on him the other day @ 80/1, looked good odds at the time, before he dislocated his ankle. Hope he keeps it up as pays top 10

I also have a bet, Speith to win, Woods top 5 (come on Tiger), Mclroy top 10, So far 2/3 it was 100/1 , put £2 on.

Couple other bets but these 2 have a chance for now, early days.
  • Looks like Speith is in control at the mo, early days but he is a good front runner. Dont really get the hate, class player and still only 24/25. Mclroy could run him close here, still only 1 day so plenty of twists left hopefully.
  • The hats not fooling anyone Jordan! You're going bald mate!
  • What we don't want is another round of -6 today and then he dominates and takes a 6 or 7 shot lead going into the back nine on Sunday... I can see it happening though.

True, he is a very good front runner so wouldn't put it past him. But hopefully he tones it down a bit today to give us more of a contest :P (disclaimer: Unless Woods finishes top 5, in that case he can run riot and win it by round 3)
  • Spieth double bogey on the first hole.

    Spieth -4
    Kuchar -4
& seven players on -3 including Mickelson

  • Only bet I’ve had is e/w on Patrick Reed.

Bogey on second hole for Spieth drops him to -3 with +3 for the day. McIlroy two birdies in a row takes him to -4.

    Kuchar -4
    McIlroy -4
& seven six players on -3 including Spieth & Mickelson

    Mickelson drops to -2.
  • C'mon team Kuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch... Long way to go yet though, of course.

Pretty pleased so far to have Kuchar, Stenson and Reed covered. Let's hope it continues.
  • Dustin Johnson eagles the second hole and goes from from +1 to -1.

Hoffman and Lefty my other two in better contention (Fleetwood too, sort of, maybe). Keep on keepin' on my bros
  • Anyone else having problems with their red button coverage?
  • Wow, seven-way tie for the lead now!

Triple bogey for Mickelson on the 9th hole drops him back to +1.

Wiesberger now leads the field at -4.

Five golfers at -3: Kuchar, Stenson, Reed, Hoffman and Hadwin.

    Spieth and McIlroy both -2.

  • Sounds like the Masters officials made the cup placement much more difficult today.
