  • At the game - in home end

Amos: 6 Couple of good saves, poor distribution though.
Konsa: 4 Surprised by how well he has been scored, offered nothing going forward and put us under pressure 3 times by refusing to attempt to even challenge for the ball. Utterly disinterested.
Bauer: 5 Little to say, if we play out from the back we will make the odd mistake, it wasn't that mistake that cost us the game.
    Pearce: 6 Fairly solid.
Page: 6.5 Lacks a bit of quality, but cant fault him for his effort last night and endeavour to get forward. A couple of superb crunching tackles too.
Reeves: 6.5 At least tried to make things happen, several occasions he found space, look up and had no one making a run.
    Forster-Caskey: 6
Aribo: 5 Occasion got to him perhaps, couldn't find a red shirt all night
Kaikai: 3 Headless chicken, how on earth he is on free kicks I will never know.
    Mavididi: 4.5 Very lightweight
Zyro: 5 Runs on treacle, won very few headers, failed to hold the ball up or add anything of note.
Maginnes: 6 Can't stand Josh, however we bring on a "target man" then proceed to try and play from the back despite that having not yielded a shot on target for the first 80 minutes of the match.

    Marshall: n/a
    Ajose: n/a
  • Just a suggestion, but could the manager be scored on his performance too with regards to tactics, substitutions etc?
  • Amos: 6 - Never nice to be so exposed, but got megged for the goal.
    Konsa: 6 Did ok.
Bauer: 6 The slip aside, he was Bauer
Pearce: 6 Partial blame for Bauer's slip he was open and told Bauer to go backwards.
Page: 6 Worked forward well, a better player in front of him and it could have been exciting.
Reeves: 6 Worked hard, very little came off.
Forster-Caskey: 6 Some good some bad. Slowed everything down too often.
Aribo: 6 Worked very hard. once again, little came off.
Kaikai: 6 Was working his nuts off, just not good enough.
Mavididi: 5.5 Tried but looked lethargic and fearful.
    Zyro: 6 Isolated
Maginnes: 6 Added some bite and general muscle up top, should have scored.

    Marshall: n/a
    Ajose: n/a

    Amos: 6.5 nothing wrong
Konsa: 6 not a full-back but quite solid
Bauer: 5 ugh, but not his fault we couldn't shoot on target
    Pearce: 6.5 did ok
    Page: 7 i like him
Reeves: 7 rose above the muck
Forster-Caskey: 7.5 won the ball and distributed really tidily
Aribo: 5 not his day at all
    Kaikai: 4 no
    Mavididi: 4 no
    Zyro: 4 no
    Maginnes: 4 no

    This.
7.5 for JFC, give over. No one deserves over a 6 from last night. JFC may be a nice player to watch, but he was ineffective last night. He constantly slowed the game down when we needed a quicker tempo, he consistently played it sideways and backwards, he looked petrified to try a more adventurous pass forward, from fear of being booed from the crowd if the pass was wayward. Spineless performance from him. He could have effected the game so much more, but unfortunately, he didn't take that opportunity.
He won it back and fed it wide. He did his job. Every time the ball went forwards, one of the forwards lost it. Should JFC have just tried to play through-balls? He's the sitting midfielder. He broke up play constantly and rarely lost possession. 'Spineless' is absurd - he battled extremely hard for 90 minutes
  • Amos: 7 - difficult to fault
    Konsa: 5.5 - never a right back
Bauer: 4.5 - off the pace all night
Pearce: 7.5 - not sure how many it would have been if he had not been playing
    Page: 6.5 - ok
Reeves: 7 - our most creative player on the night
    Forster-Caskey: 6.5 - always trying but didn't really produce
Aribo: 5 - possibly his worst game in a Charlton shirt, the game passed him by
    Kaikai: 4.5 - deadful
Mavididi: 5 - poor, but the again poor service
Zyro: 4,5 - dreadful but poor service
Maginnes: 6 - tried but the ref didn't like his challenges

Marshall: n/a - never got into it
Ajose: n/a - on too late to make an impact

no - none of them stay long enough to give a good comparison
