Have never met Tracey but you can tell she’s had a massive impact on the players and probably more importantly their families during stressful times. I wish her every success in her next adventure and I’m sure it will be thrilling for her to enjoy watching Miles without the stress of working on matchdays.
I thought that but also she is head of player care and there's basically no staff there, the players are allowed to organise something themselves and looks like they have. That alone is promising as I'm sure Tracey usually helps with these things!
What a wonderful lady Tracey is, and that video was a moving tribute, and not surprised there were a few tears, sure everyone will wish her well in the future, and will love to see her down at The Valley as a supporter...Good luck Tracey...💝
Cor that puts video lump in the throat doesn't it.
All the very best Tracey.
Your presence will be missed by all of us, not just the players and staff. Seeing you standing beside the tunnel after every home win getting the boys to do the tunnel jump, walking around the ground on match days, home and away.... You leave a big void. We all salute you.
Sorry seem to get an email every time someone says anything- how can I opt out ? Thanks
Go to your profile, click on "edit" and check the "Notifications Preferences" section, sounds like you have got the "notify me of new posts" ticked , untick and should be fine...hopefully this is it...🤔
You can do that, and you can look on the All Discussions page for a yellow star on the right hand side (you’ll find one on this discussion). Click that to stop notifications for this thread.

I get this when I accidently fat finger on mobile and press the star button next to a thread without realising. If you're on mobile go to to the main page and look for a gold star next to a thread and press it again

It's been stated elsewhere on this site by people who are more informed than myself, that Tracey's departure has nothing to do with Nathan Jones, so speculation on that count can be safely dismissed.
Gotta say, little bit disappointed by the farewell content. What a great opportunity for some old faces to record messages of thanks, funny memories etc

Would you be kind enough to direct me to that post/info….Cheers.
She was by the tunnel and was coaxing the team to do the tunnel jump. Would have loved to see a proper goodbye to her (but did not hear one on the day). Maybe she is still around for Leicester game?
The players did a presentation for her yesterday , but no Nathan , Rodwell which i think is appalling. Wish Tracey Leaburn all the best , Charlton Legend

As Tracey was the Player Liaison Officer there is no surprise that the players decided to do their own thing that was then posted on the club's official socials.
Do you know for a fact that farewells from the SMT didn't take place in private?
Sometimes the level of conspiracy theories on CL, with zero evidence, beggars belief.
Shame , Nathan and Rodwell and co , weren't there . And yes I know she was there for the players . But 10 years service by a Lady that clearly loved her job and Charlton ,you would have thought they would have been there out of respect

Has anyone checked Nathan Jones's whereabouts when JR Ewing and Phil Mitchell were both shot? The silence is deafening if you ask me.

What do you think I am, Your PA ? Go find it yerself, lazy sod 😂. Seriously though, it was put on here and it was, as I say, from people with inside knowledge of the club. I also believe that it's Tracey's personal business, Tracey's decision and when she is good and ready she may or may not decide to tell all, but, once again as I said, I am assured that it was nothing to do with Nathan Jones.

Just because a camera wasn't in their faces at the time doesn't mean she didn't get a send off from her work colleagues.

Tear shed . What a servant .
But there have been very few that can match the impact that she has had, even though she operated almost wholly behind the scenes.
Fully deserving of some form of permanent recognition by the club (I'd almost be tempted to suggest Sparrows Lane be renamed in her honour).
Quite a lot of the things that I love about this club have been associated with the name Leaburn.
The silence is deafening if you ask me.
Have a day off
