Tony Mowbray saying in the press that his budget at Blackburn this season is £8.5 million but the average for L1 is between £2m & £3m
I don't think he is right. When I interviewed Erik Samuelson of AFCW for Trust News, he revealed that their budget was £4m, and they aimed to be 4th lowest. He showed me that the EFL share the budget figures from the previous season among members (but I couldn't take a look as it is kept confidential). On that basis Mowbray is badly misinformed. Isn't his CEO known to us?
