Take a deep breath if you haven't sorted it.
It's not going to sell out and one way or another, if you want to get in you will.

Fans can either sort it out or whinge. Ring the club if you can't follow Crusty's advice.

Do you know what. Fuck the club.

it seems they've got to here without you.

If you don't want to support the team in their most important game in years that's your decision.
My point is I do want to but am struggling to get the information I need from the incompetent twats called Charlton Athletic.

    Things can sorted for you.
  • With your CON number its different from using it on the club's website. You don't need to input CON. Just the numbers that come after it. That worked for me.

Thank you, and to @Crusty54 as well...all set up ready to go!!!!
  • Let's see how it goes but contracting out one spike in sales to a company that specialises in high volumes makes sense to me.
Don't see there's much to moan about here.
  • I got through after 15 minutes at about 12:40 or so.

The client reference number on your season ticket will apparently do the job I was told even if the number you have been emailed is different (like mine was) or non-existent (like @ShootersHillGuru ).

Boycotters who were season ticket holders previously should be able to use their CON number (without entering CON) as my season ticket number has been the same as my CON number for years.

I'm on the database - bought tickets regularly this season (though no longer season ticket holder). No email received today so unable to register and then when available to non-ST holders - book play-off tickets (as no CRN number, that the club said would be emailed out today). I've never known an organisation make it so difficult for people to give them money!

And before anyone rings to say "ring the club" - why should I have to jump through so many hoops when they have not done what they said they would (email all fans on the database).

Edit - found Client ref no on recent ticket - used that to register. Hope its the right number. Might be worth trying if you have not received the email.
  • Mine is my red card number.

I’ve got two yellow card numbers, is this the same thing?
  • Account activated and all apparently Hunky Dory.
    My only questions now are;-
    1. Will I be able to purchase for my son or will he have to register/purchase separately and
    2. Will we be able to select our season ticket seats or is everything up for grabs

Q1: Add him to your Network.
  • I have my CON number but that's not recognised on the ticket master website when I go to activate now.

    Any tips?

I'm.not a season ticket holder does that matter?

Yes, never do anything that will bring you to the attention of Meire's goons.

  • My son didn’t get an email but used his CON number and has still been able to get it activated.

You joke but I'm sure I've been on some list since then.
  • I'm lost. Can i not just ring up Ticketmaster and buy tickets tomorrow?
  • I'm lost. Can i not just ring up Ticketmaster and buy tickets tomorrow?

Yes, if you know your CRN and some people say the CON works as well.
  • CON does work without the CON bit. So just the numbers.

If you have not received an email but have your season ticket number here are the instructions:

    - Visit https://www.eticketing.co.uk/cafc/
    - Click ‘Sign In’ in the top right hand corner (Do not try to sign in at this point as you first need to activate your account)
    - Select ‘Activate it now’ at the bottom of the pop-up that appears
    - Type in your above client reference number and your surname and click ‘Find my account’
    - Complete the necessary fields and click ‘Complete registration’ at the bottom of the page

Once you have done the above make a note of your password so you can easily log in to purchase tickets once they are on sale.

Should you have any problems activating your account you can call Ticketmaster on 03330 035 947.

Seems to me a deliberate ageist policy to exclude over sixties or the computer illiterate.

The ghost of Meire lives on!

    I blame the EU.

No email for me yet, this could be interesting as I have two daughters on my account with season tickets, not sure if they have their own number - can under 18’s buy online...... we’ll see.

Having activated my account I was able to add family members who hace CRNs to my 'network'. Within that option you can set each network member to have tickets Assigned or Managed. Setting it to the latter initiates the sending of a confirmation email ..... which so far hasn't arrived.
I followed the above & have added my 2 sons, one of which is not a S/T holder. I entered their 6 digit CON nos.
  • If you've bought a ticket and still have it, your Con number/CRN number will be on it (my son's was).

  • I’ve only every bought tickets for me and my sons on my CON number . Will that still be the case tomorrow?
  • No email for me yet

Don't understand. You should be able to activate your a/c no problem and add your son if you need to.

So how did you get a ticket for a restricted game like Blackburn last week ?

So you must have a con/CRN number then. It would be on your ticket if you still have one.

It sounds like you're in my situation before I finally got through on the phone! You need to open an account which you can do once you hit 'activate it now' in the email.

Where it says client reference use the reference on your season ticket or CON number (mine is the same) but don't type the letters 'CON.' Some of the information will already be there and you just need to fill in the rest of the required fields before clicking on 'complete registration.'

I managed to do it and, believe me, I have the computer literacy of a two year old or less.. Tomorrow will be the acid test of course but following the email instructions did get me to the point where the email suggested we should be.
  • I have my con number I’m just wondering if I need a separate one for my boys ? They don’t have email addresses or accounts ?!

@Covered End says you can link to yours. A bit beyond me I'm afraid all that so hopefully someone else can advise?
