    My app says Northampton 2-1 up against Oldham but it said Oldham 2-1 up three minutes ago. I don't believe anything it says anymore.

    Not good. We look very disjointed in midfield. It's a reminder of the AFC Wimbledon performance where getting in our faces and going direct really causes us problems. I think it's a problem we're always going to have with a flat 4-4-2, especially when the opposition have three (two holding and Inman) in midfield. Bowyer needs to calm the side down. We need to get the ball and keep the ball for a bit. This is where game management is incredibly important, where we need to be patient and control the game and find ways to let our quality show. That has not been our strong suit this season, certainly not under Robinson, and under Bowyer we've really struggled in games like Scunny and Wimbledon. When we go forward we look dangerous, but we've let them stretch us vertically on the pitch and our lines are too far apart from each other. More control, be more compact. This is exactly the type of tactical tweaking you could need in a playoff game.
