  • Such important games - where do they find the shit-for-brains referees to do them? Having watched the half time highlights and listened to Gobsford, my jaw is still dropped to the floor. Unbelievable.
  • Agree with Robbo. It wasn't a penalty.

Your arm should be down by your side... Not moving out from your body
    Especially towards the BFG's head.
  • It wasn't deliberate handball. Therefore not a penalty.

To me he looked like he moved his body towards it, whilst his arm was hanging out from his side. Normally when you see footballers in that position they stick their hands behind their backs.
  • Thought we were by far the better team. Just need a break. They are sitting back as they have that goal advantage. Unless we get a bit of luck I can see them scoring on a counter attack.
  • Agree with Robbo. It wasn't a penalty.

    Oooooh you are awful.
  • It wasn't deliberate handball. Therefore not a penalty.

    You've already said that Karl
  • We just dont look up for it. Shoot FFS! Inexcusable.

We look up for it but there have been zero chances to shoot for us... if we do that then the ball is going to cannon straight off a Shrews player
Lets get our ass scoring specialist in there
  • We desperately need a bit of luck here, a deflection or lucky refereeing decision as at the moment nothing is going for us in front of goal.

  • It's just not happening for big Josh today. I'd give him ten mins in the 2nd half to get his ship together. Problem is who to replace him with. Zyro was terrible on Thursday. I'd seriously consider putting Sarr up front. Desperate times etc.
  • Can we try and reign in the swearing a little please, thanks

    Sorry boss.

Can anyone explain why considering we have had like 8 managers and the multitude of former players in the last 4 years - why is it that that keeps getting chosen out of all of them to be a pundit? I'd take Peeters, Riga or Luzon frick it i'd even hear what Fraeye has to say over this guy.

Think i'll go breath into a paper bag for a bit... i'm going doolally

    *Edited sorry afka
  • Well this is it our season continues or ends in the next half.
  • We desperately need a bit of luck here, a deflection or lucky refereeing decision as at the moment nothing is going for us in front of goal.

We probably need Shrewsbury to have to sub the ref...
  • Magennis is always flat footed he never fucking anticipates anything always reacts after the ball has gone.
  • The team and the crowd are giving it all but we need to be more clinical in the final third.

Shrewsbury have clearly been reading the Sam Allardyce book of the ‘60 minute game’ (aided and abetted by a crap referee).

  • Will Bowyer make early Subs?
  • Mike said:

We are going to go both legs without scoring that is appalling

That's the spirit. Hope the players get told Angry beats whiney every time.

P.s sorry for my spelling of Dijksteel of course I know it and correct others occasionally
  • No way ref could've seen the handball from his position. And the lino was on half way line.

The elbow on Bauer was different. I think the ref bottled that one.
  • Should take Magennis off now - he’s utter shit

Nothing sticks to him, so other players can't feed off him. Oh for Carl Leaburn, even now.
  • Good start to this half
  • It'll be interesting to see how Bowyer changes things around. Agree about Magennis. With him up front he makes it very difficult for anything to happen. Not really a good target man and definitely not a fox in the box.

Maybe Zyro on but he hasn't done much lately.
  • Blooming heck I don't care about the flipping score any more I just want to see Shrewsbury damaged.
  • I think this could be a half for Mavididi though.
  • It wasn't deliberate handball. Therefore not a penalty.

He moved his arm to the ball. Handball.
