    they've been shit in the second half. Nothing about them at all got their goal then sat back lazily the entire second half.

    Exactly the same as Uruguay v Saudi last night. Done enough for the win against a side who never really looked like scoring.

    Unless these sides like Uruguay and France are deliberately saving themselves for the KO Rounds

    Neither have tough Groups so no need to raise their game too much

    French manage to go through to the knockouts even though they have been pretty hopeless. 2 lucky goals, a VAR decision and going against teams who can't score in open play. gawd I hate em.

    If that was an England performance they would be getting absolute pelters on here. Keeping it by the corner flag on 75 minutes? Zero attacking intent. Really really poor.

    Will Messi step it up tonight? I do want to see him light up the world stage to really cement his place as one of the greatest. I've got Croatia in the work sweepstake though so will be cheering them on.

    Enzo Perez, 32 years old, plays domestically.
    Salvio - bit part player for Benfica last season
    Meza - pretty much unheard of, mid 20s and still plays domestically
    Acuna - plays for Sporting.

    How are this lot playing when they have the likes of Banega, Di Maria, Lo Celso and Dybala sitting on the bench? Baffling team selection.

    Messi and Aguero anonymous, finishing appalling. The only thing this game has going for it is the digs and fouls so far.


    Oh and someone tell Lineker VAR isn't pronounced like that as well feel like punching my TV every time he does it, it's an acronym not a bloody word.
