Why only have 2 in the wall?
Stick a 3rd one in there and removes that shot from the equation0 -
Evra is more animated in his farewell speech than he has been all week!0

Said it earlier; Miroslav Klose is going to be a tough player for Germany to replace
Mario Gomez hasn't even produced the goods when needed and doesnt look like there is anyone to really rival Werner1 -
If German fans were to do Charlton Life type scores after the match, I imagine Boeteng's would rival some of Kaikai's low scores!0

Werner scored lots of goals for RB Leipzig last season and have scored 8 in 17. Did his best work out wide tonight. I'm still amazed that Leroy Sane didn't make the squad. Missing klose or a clinical finisher at this level.se9addick said:I haven't seen much of Timo Werner, but based on what I have seen I'm astonished that he's the best striker Germany can produce. Did they have some injuries in that position that has resulted in him starting?
Werner is only 22 and Brandt the sub who hit the post is only 22. They and draxler will still improve at international level.0 -

But Leipzig as a whole did better 2016/20170 -
Leipzig's issue this season was the fact they only signed Lookman in January1

Has 34 goals in 63 games for RedBull Leipzig0 -
I was just thinking that that blooming Muller bloke seems to have been playing for Germany forever.
I remember Gerd playing in the World Cup back in 1970. However, (if you allow me the sound alike Moller) it seems that we have heard the dreaded name in the World cups of 1970, 1974, 1978, 1982, 1990, 1994, 1998, 2010, 2014 and 2018.
Gerd, Dieter, Hansi, Andreas and Thomas have scored 150 international goals between them. It’s no wonder the sound of their name is becoming a bit tiresome

Roy Keane has clarified my suspicions about owning too many pairs of shoes - Mrs Otto owns a ridiculous amount - and therefore I can confirm she is not right on the head.Red_in_SE8 said:I think Keane made a valid point. If you own 650 pairs of shoes you are not right in the head.

Just read a bit of a depressing stat. Between Alli, Sterling and Lingard they have a total of 73 caps...and just 5 goals for England. That's a dreadful return for players that are effectively out and out attackers.
Given the frailty of the opposition in this tournament we have the best chance of progressing a long way for ages but we need our attacking players to start supporting Kane.
Cue Lingard hat-trick today...1 -
And only 1 of those goals (Lingard away to Holland this year) was scored away from Wembley.Bournemouth Addick said:Just read a bit of a depressing stat. Yep. And the fact that none of them can take a free kick is also a worry. My pessimistic head would say why play all three at the same time in the first place. See what he says at about 3 o clock today.Bournemouth Addick said:Just read a bit of a depressing stat. Between Alli, Sterling and Lingard they have a total of 73 caps...and just 5 goals for England. Add the 20 caps (Yes TWENTY... Didnt believe it myself) that Rashford has and he's only got three goalsBournemouth Addick said:Just read a bit of a depressing stat. So Alli | Rashford | Sterling | Lingard have 93 caps and 8-goals
Seeing that Rooney had 10-goals by his 24th cap shows what a talent he was and that was by the age of Rashford now (Someone who I still dont see as our next big hope)0 -
Which is why I believe Vardy should get more game time.ForeverAddickted said:

Welbeck - 16 goals in 39 caps.
Crouch - 22 goals in 42 caps.1 -
This - I’d have Vardy in the team all day long. Pace to burn, gets stuck in and knows where the goal is. I’d love to see an attack with Him, Kane and Rashford in it.blackpool72 said:

Just for arguments sake... Rashford (20-caps | 3-goals) | Vardy (22-caps | 7-goals)blackpool72 said:

Rashford's Goals Against: Australia | Slovakia | Costa Rica
Vardy's Goals Against: Germany | Holland | Turkey | Wales | Spain | Lithuania | Italy
Quite laughable when you look at that as when Vardy missed his chance against Costa Rica, the pundits started to question whether Vardy had the ability for the International game0 -
From what i've read, Loftus-Cheek will play instead of Alli and Rashford is in for Sterling.carly burn said:

Just watched the highlights of Mexico/SK, Mexico were very fortunate with their second goal, definitely a foul on the SK player.Callumcafc said:Can't see Mexico losing to Sweden so they should win the group from here. 2nd at best for the Germans and a match against Brazil awaits in my opinion!

You’re forgetting he plays for Leicester. Sadly that still seems to count for more than anything else.1

Sounds like Sterling will start today. Dele not fit so I assume Sterling drops back with Rashford coming or in Loftus-Cheek starts.0

True - I still feel that Vardy feels unfashionable to most. The Red Robin said:

A bit like when Darren Bent scored 24 goals for Charlton and was ommitted from the England squad. The Organiser said:

Sometimes manager's look at the club you are at rather than the player.3
