I’ve just seen the article and is Adam. I used to play football with him about 25 years ago. I saw him three or four years ago when he ran the bar at shooters Hill golf club but I wasn’t sure if it was him so we couldn’t catch up. I then found out he was at the Bird in Hand because it’s just down the road from my office. I can’t say he was that big when I last saw him but having seen the before and after photos fair play to him

What an amazing thing to do!

Ours too in the 80’s as we lived in Maiden Lane.
Although not been in it since a friend of the family was knocked over and killed outside 😞
