Well the flags have all gone, especially from the cars. And having not seen any sign of an English car, or heard an English voice since we got here a week ago, I suddenly came across a St George's flag proudly sitting on a balcony at the top of a holiday apartment block. I had the distinct impression that it was quietly taunting the whole town. My wife tells me to stop gloating. She is Czech. She doesn't understand.
