Sad to see Taylor leave, and on such a sour note as well.
I have wondered why he has spent his footballing life at such low levels, and his decision now suggests to me he has not had what it takes to make it to the very top. Most dream of lifting a cup, not a cheque.
I am not suggesting for one minute that he doesn’t work hard or put the effort in when playing; it is that focused winning mentality, and everything that means, that those at the very top of any sport have, but unfortunately he hasn’t.

Going to visit Charlton fans in hospital , raising money for Cancer charities , climbing through Wembley for pics with kids in wheelchairs , fucked about with shitty pay offers from the fools who own us , no big money move to Brentford , banging goals in for fun, grafting his nuts off for the side , running himself in to the ground , a Charlton hero ...
Now he’s gone selfish and ratted on team mates and fans to get his big pay day the bitches are mincing around his home looking for something to bitch about . He’s looking after number one , which is what all Charlton players and staff would do no matter what shit some may believe .
We’re the only ones who have unconditional LOVE for our football club , no players or team management do , they are here cos it suits them .
Least he can do is honour his original contract though, and if he trained as normal and played until the 30th then said so long there wouldn't be anywhere near the amount of vitriol.

1. The first paragraph is 100% correct which is why he was everyone’s favourite player!
2. He then went on strike and is in breach of his contract, that is why he is now unpopular
he can’t have 1 without 2 and fans will rightly remember 2 over 1. Doing 1 doesn’t give him the right to then go and do 2.
Yeah exactly, well done for going over and above just being a charlton player, but see out your legally binding signed contract. Its not just the fans he’s pissed off, imagine you’re a contracted player and we get relegated missing our star striker, you have to take pay cut etc etc, or Bowyer that will have a relegation on his CV. So much more to this than just an annoyed fan base.

really? looks like a box surrounded by other similar boxes. However, I do have an aversion to new builds ….
Well this last week he's been pictured playing golf and I'm sure he did a video with SE Dons yesterday.
I'm not sure if he is training with us. Didn't Bowyer say he wasn't training?
Berwick Rangers ain't that hard.
I'll get my coat🤣
