We’ll never know for sure but I’m convinced that if he was offered the contract that he wanted he would either still be playing for us or we would still be in the Championship and we would have got a big fee for him in the summer.
Saying that though, the money would have most likely ended up in the wrong pockets anyway.
He screwed us and didn’t leave in the right way but we move on, in the grand scheme of things yes we would have stayed up with him playing the last games, but Roland and the crooks in the boardroom are the people to blame when we look back on the last season. Everything was set up to fail.
Two years of sporadic appearances for Forest and copious bench warming in the Championship, then next stop Stevenage Town. But hey, he does not like football, just likes stitching up and ratting out football clubs who gave him his step up!

I'm sure he's content to sit on the bench, because all he wants is money and the occasional goal so fans love him, but I find it hilarious he's not the main man and I'm sure his ego is hurt by this fact.
Why are you still coming onto a thread where the sole intention of the thread is to talk about this bellend? Just don't open the thread.. If you want my personal reason, my two boys held this guy up as a hero and were very upset about his decision. I want to see him fail and I want to gloat so I feel some form of karma has been served for me and my family.

So .. why are you still talking about this bellend ?
He was a handful for them today, lot of Forest fans calling for him to start. Was his usual self, giving away stupid freekicks and moaning, but there's no doubt CB's don't like playing against him. That being said, didn't look like Forest's style suits him.
Didn't look match fit to me. Forest's system does not suit his play either, and he will always be 2nd choice behind Grabban. Other than that, life changing.
If Taylor stayed with us and we stayed up. (He scored at Cardiff for 0-1)
The 20/21 season would have been chaotic in the championship.
Would be lucky to have get 15 points over the 46 games.
In league one we have a vague chance of finishing mid table. At least then we can gradually build up again as we hopefully get the new ownership deal confirmed.

Bowyer will likely walk. Whatever happens.
Bowyer wont walk now... If he was going to walk he'd have done so by now and at a time where it didnt hurt the club

What, even if TS takes over and gives him money to spend and possibly a new improved contract into the bargain .........I somehow don’t think so Dave. If he’s stayed around this long then I strongly believe it was because he was waiting to see how things would pan out over the ownership fiasco. I think we all know that. So why would he walk away now, having stuck it out for so long? If this takeover doesn’t come about then of course the possibility of him leaving does become much more of a reality.

I thought Southhall already offered him a 100 year contract already!

He only wanted real men at Forest.

Want them winning games so he stays on the bench
