A friend of a friend is high up in FA and Premier coaching set ups - employed by both.
He says Mason Mount is the one and his season loan at Derby could be the making of him. He is concerned Foden won't play enough. Sancho and Chalobah are players too he says.
Solanke won't play enough nor Brewster unless he goes out on loan this season - he's number 7 in the pecking order at Liverpool !
Win the Group and we face Portugal, come second and we face Italy (Both games on Thursday) - Lose against France and we have to hope that Turkey beat Ukraine else we're "out" and go into a Play-Off against Norway to qualify for the U20 World Cup next year
The French kid Gouiri looks a real talent. Top scorer at the U17 Euros 2 years ago, scored 5 at the U17 World cup and now has 4 goals in 3 games here. Can't imagine he'll be at Lyon for long if he keeps that up.
This is his scoring record for the French youth teams.
France U17 13 games, 15 goals France U18 5 games, 5 goals France U19 7 games, 7 goals
Has this tournament got much attention in England? Haven't seen much about it on the internet but wondered what the level of interest was, especially post-World Cup.

Dont think many people care about England outside of the Senior Squad and even outside of the Euros / World Cup
The U20 World Cup barely got any recognition by the media and the BBC only truly jumped on the bandwagon by showing the Final when we got there - Also if you read on Twitter people are bemoaning that Paul Simpson (again that boring argument that he achieved nothing at club level) is the Manager of the U19 Squad out there at the moment yet arent even aware that he won the U20 World Cup last year
We beat them 3-2 in the Group Stages of the 2005 competition
Same again please England - Be a shame if we cant defend our U20 World Cup title, not to mention annoying the fact we've been hamstrung without our key players

Doesnt look like it'll be an easy game though as Ukraine beat France 2-1 in their opening match

Yeah Solanke and Brewster are never going to play. I think i read Gerrard wanted to take Solanke on loan at Rangers. He definitely needs a loan move.
Shame he’s a Nigel though

Table ATM
Ukraine 7 points
England 5 points
France 4 points
Turkey 0 points
Have to make sure we beat Norway to qualify for the under 20 World Cup.

Stick those 6 in the side and we'd have won the tournament.
