Not looking great though, JFC out for the season 48 hours before the first game, Solly patched up, Pearce taken off injured. No midfield cover, no centre back cover if Pearce is out and Sarr has to play, and Ajose is obviously off as well hence he didn't come on.

We gave it a go with what we had, came up short against a fairly poor Sunderland side.

No ability to change it around due to lack of players, firmly at RD’s door....... I can’t see that 11 turning over many sides in this division. Fitting to be so close to a point away to who the bookies believe will win the division, but cane up short - we’d best get used to that.

Lol apologised to me cos table next tipped him off. We stopped going forward and tried to hang on. Ultimately fresh legs up front stop the pressure. Too deep too passive. Many reasons why we're in this state but even so have to move forward if you want to cut down their opportunities.

Should have made changes. Give a fuck if you don't rate the options we needed fresh legs and some were dead on their feet and offering nothing towards the end.

Feels like naivety from LB but it just stings to lose in the last minute. Real villain is Roland who has left us with the thinnest squad we've ever had and must be the one blocking us bringing in the trialists.

If we lost Aribo this week we are fucked as thought he and Grant looked good today.
