The chuckle brothers were old school family entertainers who followed their two older brothers into showbusiness.
Like Tommy Cooper they were funny to look at,
One tall, one short, simplistic and daft but children's entertainers that adults could laugh at.

Saw them at a club a couple of years ago, proper legends!

God this is sad, like others I grew up watching the chuckle brothers, RIP0

So very sad to read this news. They came along way after I had left children’s TV behind, but their simple, non swearing routine I used to watch and laugh at, with my kids. RIP Barry and thankyou for the laughter you and your brother gave.

I could never understand why they were not on TV outside of children's programmes. Barry's comic timing was fantastic. Watched Chucklevision with my son when he was very young and can say I always quite enjoyed doing so! R.I.P.1

If the coffin bearers don't do a bit of 'to me, to you' then a little bit of comedy will have been missed.

Sad news. The artists of simple clean humour. To me they are Yorkshire's Laurel & Hardy. Will be missed by many. RIP0

Very nice
Ipswich fans started chanting "to me, to you" when they started passing the ball around against Rotherham as Barry was a life long fan of the latter5 -
There was a nice tribute about Barry on BBC Radio 4's 'Last Word', broadcast on Friday 10th August.
