I honestly think Bowyer is doing the right thing and it could work in our favour - Bet ya barely anyone knew about Albie Morgan before this season yet in one game the lad has proven that he's good enough to play at this level (just perhaps not every week) - Joe Cummings or Ben Dempsey might be the next player who is able to adapt to First Team football and so be better than anyone we can bring in on loan (As I said about Sarkic potentially signing, I'd rather we bring through OUR kids rather than someone else's)
Of course at the end of the day we still need quantity with a few loanees but these kids might just surprise and add a bit of quality!!
Dillon Phillips starts again behind what is expected to be a 3-5-2 formation. Anfernee Dijksteel, Jo Cummings and Blumberg start in defence. Marshall and Jamie Mascoll will cover the wing back roles with a midfield three of Morgan, Taylor Maloney and Dempsey. Ajose and Reeco Hackett-Fairchild start up front for the Addicks.
Yeah good luck to the youngsters. It's good experience for them whatever the result. MK Dons have fielded a decent side it seems, and for many this is their first taste of senior football.
Excited to see Maloney. I love a good holding player, but also he seems to have a real class about him.

COME ON YOU REDS!!

I thought he had a better debut cameo than Lapslie did against Blackpool last season and disappointed not to be able to watch this one
1. Where is Jed Steer?
2. How on earth do we have squad numbers that go up to 40?
The team we put out on Saturday read like a League Cup round 1 side, with a smattering of under 23's in the squad.
This reads like a behind closed doors friendly played to get Ajose and Marshall up to full fitness after injury layoffs.
