Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has urged boss Peter Taylor to use his contacts in the game to bring in top-class loan signings.
Jordan has made no secret of his disappointment at Palace's failure to challenge for promotion from the Championship this season, and was due to meet Taylor this week to discuss the campaign.
But Jordan is keen to see more transfer activity at Selhurst Park during the months ahead.
"The dust hasn't settled on this season yet, but a lot will be determined by players contracts," said Jordan.
"The budget is based on what we sell, but it is up to Peter as an ex-England Under-21 coach to get his little black book out and start getting people in on loan. We are the only club in England who don't seem to have loan players."
