Spurs play City af Wembley on the Mon, now scheduled to play West Ham on the Tues. Even if it gets moved to the Wed its still bloody ridiculous. Stadium problems biting us in the backside!

If no Champs League surely they move the Cup game to following week, Everton v Southampton didnt play there Carabao Cup game midweek for some reason so they can move it if they need to

Definitely a CL week the week after...
Wolves away Sat, PSV home Tues, Palace away Sat. No fixtures schedules for the following 2 weeks so assuming thats an international week.
Credit to Chelsea for once... They're allowing Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori to face them tonight in the League Cup
Accordingly to Football League rules they were well within their right to say no - Makes sense them doing it though because if Derby did knock them out of the competition with Mount for example instrumental in the win, then Chelsea will have evidence that he's maybe worth looking at next summer ahead of a Premier League loan, if he doesnt impress then they know he's probably not ready
A bit awkward that a Chelsea loanee scored an own goal for them. That's possibly why loanees don't usually don't face their parent clubs, it avoids allegations of conflict of interest, especially in league matches. In a cup match like this it's not such an issue, especially as the loan players won't be returning to Chelsea this season

Yet in the same argument it was Mason Mount also on loan from Chelsea that made it 2-2 with his pass to Waghorn

A loan player doing something good for his new team is fine, it's when they cock up that conspiracy theories start bubbling up!
"And Mount's penalty flies over the bar, and Derby County are out, losing 5-4 on penalties"
Yep some do although I seem to recall us singing about Ricardo Fuller he drives when he’s pissed.
Not funny in the slightest as drink driving is proper wanker behaviour, I would personally see prison sentences for those who deliberately flout the rules like loris who just went out had several glasses of wine and then drove.
Hate to disappoint you but away goals don't count if it's a draw at the end of the tie though do take the point that Burton will be gutted if and when they win the return leg by 8.

I should have said for the avoidance of any doubt, I knew away goals were dropped a season or so ago, a poor attempt at a joke when I didnt see the other thread about Burton. Me bad.
Why do players still moan when the ref doesnt stop the game when a player is down injured, they know unless its a head injury they game wont be stopped yet the stil moan, even the commentator said it would be contentious if Chelsea score here, no it wouldnt be, Sissoko was down with a leg injury so game carries on until Spurs kick it out of play.
I saw it at the weekend cant remember who it was so will say Team A and Team B, Team A had a player down injured whilst attacking and carries on, Team B got the ball and counter attacked, Team A then started screaming at the ref to stop the game, why would they didnt kick the ball out when they were attacking, so Why should it stop when they are defending

Two own goals from Derby yet is 2-2!!

Without VAR Harry Kane would have been given offside
With VAR Harry Kane gets a penalty
Should have booked them both!
