    Reeves: 6

  • Referee: 0 - absolute shocker, no consistency in cards given and decisions given, bad for both sides really but probably more so us

Steer: 6.5 - Not much he could do for either goal
    Bauer: 7.5 - solid
    Pearce:7.5 - solid
Sarr: 8.5 - barely has to jump to win headers, very calm and calculated today
    Solly: 7 - decent
Aribo: 6.5 - thought he was good going forward and at times held up the ball well
Pratley: 3 - not on the same wavelength as the rest of the team, he seems to love dropping deep, almost joining the backline yet somehow provides no assistance for the defence. Liability imo
    Page: 6.5 - decent
    Ajose: 4 - ineffectual
Taylor: 8.5 - brilliantly holds up play and uses his pace really well, doesn't just wait for a through ball to run onto but gets involved in build up play too
Grant: 7 - getting better under pressure, quality ball that almost led to a Taylor wonder goal
Reeves: 7.5 - brilliant footwork and passing
Lapslie: 8 - same as Reeves, looks really comfortable on the ball and beat his man well

    Referee: 7
Steer: 6 Needs to improve his distribution.
Bauer: 7 dealt with the beast without any fuss. Assist for the 2nd.
Pearce: 7 No fuss as usual and solid in the back three.
Sarr: 7 Little bit wayward in first half but better in second.
    Solly: 7 Better second half.
Aribo: 7 Tidy in midfield and was better when Reeves came on.
Pratley: 6 needed a bit of steel in midfield but can be a bit of a calamity at times too.
Page: 7 Caused problems down the left and decent defending.
Ajose: 5 Wasn’t on the same page today in the position he played. Probably more effective up front but ain’t gonna budge Taylor and Grant at the moment.
Taylor: 7 A right pain in the defences arse and deserved his tap in. Almost got a worldy too with the overhead kick from Grants wonder run.
Grant; 6.5 Should have done better with the one on one but still improving.
Reeves: 7.5 turned the game when he came on. One lovely reverse pass nearly put in Taylor and assist for the third.
Lapslie: 7 loads of energy and got stuck in. Decent on the ball going forward.

  • Referee: 5 The booking of Steer was ridiculous
Steer: 6 no chance with goal, good claim at the end, reasonable distribution
    Bauer: 7 looked assured
    Pearce: 8 won his battles
Sarr: 6 looked uncomfortable in the first half as part of a back three
    Solly: 6 did ok
Aribo: 6 nice ball to Grant for 2nd
    Pratley: 6 battled
Page: 6 not strong enough at times
Ajose: 5 just didn’t gel with the front 2
Taylor: 7 good 2nd half but play the ball not the man
Grant; 6 good assist but missed his one on one
Reeves: 7 looked surpringly good. Great delivery for Sarr’s Goal
    Lapslie: 7 added good energy
  • Referee: 6 - good game. -1 for Steer’s yellow card. You can’t book someone in an anticipation that they are going to timewaste.
Steer: 6.5 - decent league debut. Kicking better than Phillips’. Could’ve caught a few but opted to punch.
Bauer: 7 - solid. Dealt with Akinfenwa all day long.
Pearce: 7 - as above. Dealt with Akinfenwa all day. Great battle to watch.
Sarr: 8 - MOM an extra .5 for the goal. Made a couple of mistakes but passed well, carried well and tackled well. Doesn’t read the game as well as Bauer or Pearce. Can’t fault his effort. Deserved his goal.
Solly: 7 - played well down the right hand side. Got forward well and defended well.
Aribo: 7 - second half was better than his first. Got hold of the ball and moved it well.
Pratley: 5 - looked tired, leggy and old. Needs a rest. We are very negative with him in the side.
Page: 6.5 - I need to rewatch their first goal but I think it was him who gave their man far too much space. Gets forward very well.
Ajose: 5 - poor half of football. Very strange not to have a replacement ready for the start of the second half. Done nothing. Misplaced passes, misstimed jumps. Poor
Taylor: 7.5 - that second half performance was brilliant. Caused their number 5 problems all game.
Grant; 7 - as above, plays very well with Taylor. Should work on his control.
Reeves: 8 - Changed the game when we came on. The ball sticks to his feet like glue.
Lapslie: 8 - needs to be starting now. Very positive player. Works tirelessly.

  • Referee: 6
Steer: 6.5 - wasn’t sure if he could have done better with the goal. distribution started off bad but grew into the game. almost got a great assist but it didn’t quite set right for taylor
Bauer: 7.5 - really brave and beat akinfenwa in the air a few times
Pearce: 8 - same as above just more of it. good captain
Sarr: 8 - class above, extremely composed. but as everyone says, has a mistake in him
    Solly: 6.5 - average, not a wingback
Aribo: 7.5 - faded in and out but when he was in, he was amazing
Pratley: 5.5 - just not that good
Page: 6.5 - started off poor as did the whole team but better in the second
Ajose: 5 - nothing came off for him, worked hard though
Taylor: 8.5 - what you want in a striker, unplayable at times in the second half. how we got this guy i will never know
Grant: 7 - worked really hard
Reeves: 8 - him and lapslie changed the game when he came on. that’s the player robinson want to sign. unreal
Lapslie: 7.5 - charlton through and through and you can tell by his effort. really want him to get a goal. should have been more greedy when he passed to reeves

    Edit - forget the ref!

  • Watching a different game to me -Reeves was quality as was Lapslie
  • Referee: 6 (The East stand linesman was rubbish though, I'm not sure he flagged for any foul all match!)
Steer: 7 (more for his Hameresque kicking)
    Bauer: 7.5
    Pearce: 8
Sarr: 7 (an extra mark for the goal)
    Solly: 6.5
    Aribo: 6.5
Pratley: 4 (lucky not to have been sent off either last week or this week which would have cost us badly)
    Page: 6.5
    Ajose: 5
    Taylor: 7.5 (great second half)
Grant; 6.5 (a real threat as the wide striker, his runs to the byline have created goals 2 weeks running)
Reeves: 6.5 (some quality touches, but poor set piece delivery)
    Lapslie: 7

    what were you watching lol
  • Referee: 6 - a bit pedantic but got most things right, save for his absurd booking of Steer in injury time
Steer: 6 - looked a bit shaky in the first half, better in the second
Bauer: 7.5 - played very well and won a lot in the air
Pearce: 7 - solid and aggressive
Sarr: 6.5 - largely untroubled and got some good challenges in. Lethal from four yards out
Solly: 6 - not suited to the wingback position. A better second half with Lapslie supporting him
Aribo: 6.5 - save for a few flashes of quality, a mediocre first half, although I think he was having to sit too deep. Much better in the second
    Pratley: 5 - not good
Page: 6.5 - good going forward
Ajose: 4.5 - a really poor first half and effectively a passenger. Was he struggling with the hamstring ?
Taylor: 8 - subdued in the first half, excellent in the second. Was in the wars, so I hope he's ok
Grant: 6.5 - not one of his better games but he worked hard and put in a couple of very good crosses, including the one for our second goal
Reeves: 7.5 - really helped turn the game in our favour. Played some lovely, incisive passes to open Wycombe up, Skewed one decent shooting opportunity badly wide but overall very good
Lapslie: 8: MoM - a tremendous engine, knitted our play together and helped put us in the ascendancy as Wycombe ran out of gas and fell apart defensively

The bottom of a pint glass, but definitely not the match.
  • Referee:
Steer: 5.5 Looked nervy and uncertain. Phillips looks a better option
    Bauer: 7 Usual steady performance
Pearce: 7.5 Loves a battle which he certainly got today
Sarr: 7 Mixed bag as always but great to see him on the scoresheet
Solly: 7. Typical solid Solly performance
Aribo: 6 Up and down performance
Pratley: 5 Found it difficult today
Page: 7 Provided some good attacking options
Ajose:5 No surprise to see him taken off
Taylor: 8.5 MOM - A real handful especially second half.
Grant; 6.5 Worked hard but not that much came off for him
Reeves: 7.5 I'm not his greatest fan, but i thought he did well when he came on.
Lapslie: 8 Love this kids attitude

Page: 7 not always accurate but if you go forward, you're in my good book.
Ajose: 6 tried but the whole set up was shit for first 35 minutes.
Taylor: 8 worked really hard, caused a lot of problems for them.
Grant; 6.5 needs to be more direct, good assist.
Reeves: 8.5 MOM, a thinker, can find the right pass more than most.
Lapslie: 8 great heart, some nice touches, had one chance to shoot and dithered, but very promising.

Ref. 3. Missed a stonewall penalty just before our second goal, Taylor was getting fouled all afternoon and got nothing, and that booking for Steer, dear oh dear.

Steer: 7 better kicking than Phillips but Phillips a great shot stopper.
    Bauer: 7.5 solid
    Pearce: 8 excellent
Sarr: 7.5 I like him and always brings something different to the team.
    Solly: 7 decent
Aribo: 7 slowed the game down to much in the first half, better in the second.
Pratley: 6 solid player but not he’s day.
Page: 7 great cross for the first, as good as da Silva and already more assists than him from last season.
Ajose: 5 one good through ball for Grant but didn’t do anything else.
Taylor: 8.5 second half was unplayable.
Grant; 7.5 he’s gonna score a lot this season, missed a one on one but he’s pace scares defenders so much and drags defenders out to make space for Taylor.
Reeves: 8 lovely through balls and changed the game, we’ve been missing that attacking midfielder with an eye for a pass.
Lapslie: 8 love this lad gonna make it a long way with us good footballer, good heart, should have shot and not passed to Reeves thought as he wasn’t even interested at the goal.

Steer: 7 - Looked assured and his handling was sound. I put the goals down to poor marking.
Bauer: 8 - Won everything in the air and wasn't afraid of The Beast! (MOM for me.)
    Pearce: 7 - Typical captain's display.
Sarr: 7 - Couple of wayward crossfield passes, but otherwise sound. Extra 0.5 for his goal.
Solly: 5.5 - I thought he had a poor game. Passing game was off.
Aribo: 6 - Decision making needs to improve. Sometimes he carries the ball too far when he should pass and other times he passes when he should run at the oppo a bit more. He has great ability though.
Pratley: 6 - Not his best game, looked a bit jaded.
    Page: 6.5 - Done ok.
    Ajose: 4.5 - Looked lost.
Taylor: 7.5 - Took a couple of whacks, but kept going. Plenty of runs down the channel in 2nd half.
Grant; 6.5 - Made some good runs to pull defenders out of the way, but really needs to improve his shooting. Chance in 1st half on his left really should've been scored.
Reeves: 7 - Tidy in possession and wanted the ball as often as possible. Should've scored though!
Lapslie: 7 - Great energy levels, a real driving force in midfield.

Steer: 7. Excellent distribution. First goal wasn’t his fault but I thought he could have done slightly better with it

Bauer: 7. Usual stuff from BFG and an assist

    Pearce: 8. Warrior.

Sarr: 7. Plus 1 for the goal. Minus 1 for some. Sloppy defending but I like him.

Solly: 6.5 did well but is no more a wing back than I am.

Aribo: 5.5. Poor. Slowed the game down and was consistently short with his passing. Lost his man from the throw in for the first goal. Did some good stuff late on but will be out of the team soon when the cavalry turns up.

Pratley: 4. The more I see the less I like.

Page: 7. Excellent again. Left alone at the back by Aribo/ajose a few times

Ajose: 3. Two points for putting his shirt on the right way round and finding the pitch at the end of the tunnel. Otherwise contributed absolutely sod all and body language is awful. Get rid.

Taylor: 9. Garbage for the first half hour but from then on was immense. Josh me old mucker, love you lots but this is how it’s done in league 1 mate.

Grant; 7 thought he was excellent. Pace caused them all sorts of problems and his confidence is growing.

Reeves: 7.5. Not my cup of cocoa but if he keeps this up i’ll Be reconsidering my choice of late night drink. He’s just naturally unfit so 90 mins may be above and beyond the call but he, George and Taylor turned the game today.

Lapslie: 7.5. Thought he was out of his depth in other games I’ve seen him but he’s learning to swim nicely. Good lad.
