same score as the last game Liverpool played at Leicester ,,, Leicester made a much better fist of an effort and looked far better than did Tottenham today .. Liverpool have the three main attributes of a championship wining team .. they're talented, superbly organised and ruthless
Liverpool’s problem is their back up forwards are Sturridge and Solanke. 1 injury away from it all going tits up.
They have Shaqiri as well.
However it depends who the injury is to. Salah they've definitely got a problem, and Firmino too as his work rate is phenomenal but i think they could cope without Mane for a few games.
Had Liverpool put 6 or 7 past Spurs yesterday, they'd have deserved so. Liverpool were head and shoulders better and thats no under exaggeration.
One club showing how to lead a title challenge by spending £150m, the other has a chairman who just doesnt back whatever manager he has got in charge. Want to be a big club then bloody well act like one.
Fcuk knows what Poch was playing at. Normally has a plan. Normally has a front 2/3 that will press from the front but not even at the races today. Changed tactics 3 times in the first 10 mins. 3-5-2 to 4-5-1 to 4-1-2-1-2. He spent most of last season marginalising Alderweirald after his refusual to sign a new contract then he plays him at the expense of Sanchez, the one CB at Spurs with any pace. Nothing Poch done yesterday made sense at all. The team lacked confidence from the start and that was so un-Spurs like of recent years. Going to be a long season me thinks.
Liverpool on the other hand have gone up another level from last season.

City, Liverpool and Chelsea will take the top 3 spots, although not necessarily in that order.
Then a fight between the others for 4th spot.
Stop Ericsson - stop Spurs.
(so they used to say when England lost at home to Poland)

Liverpool on the other hand have gone up another level from last season. Vorm was concussed as per the Bin Dippers book of 'not their fault' excuses
