We won cheer up you miserable sod lol
B@llocks now back in hotel room. Up till our 2nd they were still in the game, we should of smashed bradford today
That killer pass from Cullen to set up Grant for the 1st goal, threaded through the eye of a needle - so impressed! I've watched it over abreathtaking quality, belongs in the Prem. If he can do that regularly, our front boys are going to score a hatful.
Karlan should have scored again, fed by Aribo ...... but first of all, look at that 1st time pass by Ward, into Aribo's path. This is the quality that will unlock defences in our League.
Add in Taylor's delightful curler across their keeper - we've got genuine creative quality in our squad this year. And we've still got players like Clarke, Bielek and Fosu waiting to come in.
I think it important that someone tells Roland Cullen is not actually our player so he can't sell him in January.

Maybe ..... but there is something starting to take shape.
We've got organisation, work rate and movement, a physical edge and battling qualities ...... plus creative ability. And now we're scoring goals out of nothing each game.
It's still a work in progress but with 3 wins on the bounce, there's consistancy starting to come. I like what I'm seeing and believe it's going to get even better.
This is heartwarming and probably expalins about the good teamwork and how they get on together as a few of them know each other As Bowyer said in the Q&A this is the player he wanted the most to sign.
Couldn’t go today, but I believe there is typically a very large gap between the attendance and the actual crowd at Bradford, bigger even than at Charlton. That’s not to say it doesn’t work for them, but the announced numbers are not representative.
I would say it was the emptiest I have seen it in the last few years. Impressive attendance none the less.
As suggested by the fact they seem to have shut the away end?
We sat where we sat today back in the Premier league, couldn't they sell it out then?
If they shut a stand then presumably not, but that’s not my recollection.
The game we lost there 1-0, I think Robbie Blake scored, we sat on the side.
Also the game v Stockport I went to there the away fans where we we were. But you know best Rick, you always do.
BTW it's nice of you to come on here and say what a great result it was, oh you didn't you were too busy trying to make some pointless dig.
We sat behind the goal in 2000/01. That was my recollection and that’s where the tickets were, according to the programme at the time.
It’s not in any sense a dig at Bradford or anyone else - I’m just pointing out the crowd figure isn’t accurate, just as it isn’t at Charlton.
I don't get what your point of brining it up in the first place was, Bradford had fantastic home support today, as they always do. Supported by a progressive view to season ticket pricing, which I believe you support?
I just find it sad that you are more interested in politcial point scoring than celebrating a fantastic performance.
Not really sure why you are needlessly digging him out. All he did was say that Bradford’s turnstile count is known for being vastly away from stated attendance (due to their cheap season ticket policy).
You might not like him but at least have a pop when there is something justifiable to have a pop at!

Agreed. Cafc43v3r has made himself look rather foolish. Commenting on Bradford's attendance figures can in no sane way be described as political point scoring & I'm not expecting the subject to come up on Question Time anytime soon.

Just got in and have to say I really enjoyed the day out in Bradford. First time I’ve seen us this season and was wholly impressed with the tenacity that Bowyer has instilled in the team, the willingness to put a foot in and battle. Soft we’re not.
To top off an already decent day I got my customary hug off the delectable and enchanting @Fanny Fanackapan . What more could an Addick ask for?
Interesting marks for Aribo on the other thread. They vary from our best player to our worst player.
I think he’s gonna turn into a very good player. So comfortable with the ball at his feet. Felt he did okay today, but he and reeves probably aren’t the best two together in a diamond.
While I share everyone's excitement at the way things are shaping up, how do we know RD will not sell Taylor and Fosu in the January window?
A rational answer would be that the club will be more valuable and saleable if we get promoted (or even come very close to promoted) but RD is not motivated by reason but by short-term greed, self-delusion, and spite.
Love that passion by Cullen, nice to have a player on loan that clearly cares
Season long loans often care. I don't think you could accuse Amos or DaSilva of not caring! Short term loans are generally a waste of time agreed
I didn't say they didn't, I was a big fan of Amos and DaSilva. On the flip side I have also seen my fair share of bad loanees. Was just an observation from the picture. As you were
PWR as only just home after 15+ hours away....when a near perfect day was almost spoiled by guess who ?
YES ! South Eastern ! 22.54 from London Bridge to Wadhurst - cancelled. But 23.09 terminating at Tunbridge Wells would do the job as we were advised there'd be a bus waiting there to take passengers onwards to Hastings via all stations. Well, said buses were clearly invisible so a taxi costing us £25 was the only solution. FECKERS !!!!!!
As you were and breathe....
A great performance by the lads today courtesy of 2 excellent goals scored by , wait for it, strikers ! This will take some getting used to ! We hadn't even taken our seats when Karlan drove forward down the left and, exuding confidence, blasted the ball past the despairing dive of their 'keeper. One nil to the Londoners !
We continued to play some very decent football but in many respects, City gave as good as they got in what turned out to be a fiercely competitive match. Tackles flew in at a rate of knots with no prisoners taken and yellow cards were flourished, albeit mainly to our players. Our tally is increasing at an alarming rate this season but there's no doubting their commitment for sure.
The Bantams came out full of fight after the break & our lads had to work really hard to stifle their attacks. But our determination to come away with the spoils overcame their efforts and we were rewarded with a second very special goal from a very special striker. Our Lyle thoroughly deserved the accolade he received from the away faithful & it was a fitting finale to what had been a great contest. And not to forget that Igor nearly made it three !
It would be harsh to name one player as MOTM - every single one wearing the shirt played their part today in defence , midfield and up front. Bow used his subs well to freshen things up although young George didn't have quite the same impact as he had a week ago. Naby slotted in seamlessly and Igor looks SO pleased to be a part of the team again....long may it last.
The overall consensus was that we are looking like a team that not only plays for their manager but also for each other, with impressive partnerships gelling all over the pitch. Whatever is or is not happening off the field of play is clearly not affecting the players which is how it should be. Positivity & optimism are the buzz words at this moment in time - two we haven't felt able to use for many months & the love between the fans and their current team is almost tangible.
Two very good clinically finished goals, totally different to the scrappy efforts last week. But whether top drawer or scrappy, they all count, and to have our team actually creating chances and putting them away is a step up on what we were enduring under Robinson and Slade.
Agree Bowyer and Gallen have done a good recruitment job and I'm feeling more optimistic than I have done for some time.
Just another thought early this morning before I head off to work... Taylor and Grant are never more than 15-20 yards from one another, it shows a good understanding of where each other are, who is going to run behind, who is going to go slightly wide, it’s still very new but with Grant’s involvement in most of Taylor’s goals this season, it has a potential to be a fantastic partnership.

Watched Quest and the goals looked good.

And so to bed with a smile on my face ......
....which Mr F's snoring will soon wipe off !
Bring on the Pilgrims !!!
Maybe Bow should make them all tuck their shirts in like Cullen...
