Anyone hear him on Tuesday night?
He spoke for a long while and passionately, and dare I say eloquently for a Geordie about football. He started with the U21's but then moved to Academies and finally kids football.
He spoke a hell of a lot of sense and anyone who is involved in junior football must have related to so much he said, and some would have squirmed!

So what is he doing about it other than spouting off about it on radio. Or is he a coach somewhere.

Forget him, there are poeple doing something about it. There is a movement down in the West country called something like "Give us back our game". They are featured in the piece too.
