I second that. If you haven’t got plans, get over to Davis Square, Somerville for Honk!
  • Also Cullen is such a classy player, so comfortable on the ball and economic with his passing.

iFollow is about a minute behind the live action. My mate at the game messaged me. I already knew we were 1-0 up before Taylor went down for the penalty
  • We seem to be getting our fair share of Pens for a change, how many is that so far, 4? Indication of a more potent strike force?

Better strike force obviously playing a part but much of it is down to playing quicker, more direct and looking to get in behind teams. Robinson’s football was far too slow and focussed on possession. It made it much easier for teams to get back into position and defend in numbers.
  • First iFollow game of the season and it's been a good one. Charlton just about deserve the lead but Coventry have had their chances, including a couple following Sarr errors. He's such a frustrating player, one minute great defending and excellent distribution, the next a missed tackle, a slip in the box or a pass straight to the opposition in a dangerous area.

My thoughts on the first half, we are well worth our one nil lead, we are comfortably the better side imo and I feel like if they score it will be our mistake rather than their creativity.

I feel like since I criticized Taylor I have anti commentators cursed him? He has looked lively and earned our penalty.

Reeves has been fantastic, looked good on the ball and I don't think I've seen him misplace a pass once, Aribo, Cullen and Fosu all having good games as well. Solly having a decent game at LWB, my main concerns are Sarr with some dodgy passing and Grant looking quite greedy at times.

Anything other than 3 points would be dropped points based on the first half

  • We have got to get more success out of corners. Are they worked on during the week??
  • @briston_addick are you at The Valley? Happy to leave commentary to you this half as you are ahead.
  • Spanners losing, Tractor Boys and Preston winning, Hull drawing.

Spanners currently 24th in Div 2

  • We've been looking good going forward but I'm still not convinced about the back. Lucky that Coventry have nothing going forward.
  • Certainly goals to come second half at one end or the other.

Yes, I am at The Valley, perched on the back row of the Upper Shelf of the Cupboard End.

I woukdn't rely on me for too much commentary, I can't watch the play and type on my phone at the same time!

Think of my input as a complementary service

I think you spoke too soon!
  • Top three at the start of the day all losing by at least two goals...
  • Fairly scrappy so far this half.

If only Cardiff and Huddersfield weren't so hopeless.

Palace still yet to score their first home goal of the season!
  • Fleetwood 4 up at Doncaster. What on earth is going on there?
  • The way we keep the ball, win it back and the movement is brilliant to watch.

    Millwall winning now...

I think the appropriate term for this sort of event is... "carnts"
