So if there are 11,880 minutes possible (12 matches so far x 90 minutes x 11 players) then 71% of available minutes for Yeovil have been played by by under 23’s. Our number (based on 11 matches) is 48%, which is pretty impressive but reveals much of a story in itself.0

Very surprised with Swansea, in the Championship on PL parachute payments and second in that list.0

They lost a lot of senior players, maybe their acquisitions were youngsters too?Athletico Charlton said:Very surprised with Swansea, in the Championship on PL parachute payments and second in that list.
Shocked at the Bolton numbers. It seems Parky has team of aging old pros there!
Not surprised by our numbers. As well as home grown youngsters, Cullen and Bielik are under 23 as well, plus the likes of Page and Fosu2 -
The Premier League stars of the future. Katrien was right.0

It would be interesting to see how many were home grown rather than loans and hoovering up released players from bigger clubs2

Tweets are not embedded (is that the right terminology ?) for me lately.
ie you can't read them without clicking on them.
Is it just me ?0 -
And they have a decent academy. You have someone like Matt Grimes, an England youth International, who bounced around on loan but that drop down to the Championship by Swansea means he seems to be playing pretty regularly.Athletico Charlton said:Very surprised with Swansea, in the Championship on PL parachute payments and second in that list.

When I read earlier I thought it was ex academy players, not realised it was simply young players. Makes more sense now I have read your post 😀killerandflash said:

For me, 11th is a good place to be on this list. It means our academy is working and we're bringing players through (Grant, Phillips, Lapslie, Morgan, Aribo), and we've signed good young players (Fosu, Cullen, Bielik).1
