This weekend marks the national remembrance of Trafalgar Day. Nelson famously routed the combined French and Spanish navies at Trafalgar in 1805. Little known fact that some of those British sailors who died that day are buried at The Pleasaunce in East Greenwich, Chevening Road, SE10. There is an annual Act of Remembrance being held there at Midday tomorrow. Maybe a a few passing Addicks might want to pay a visit en route the Valley and show their respects. Handy for those trendy drinkers now frequenting The River ale house on the Lower Road....
