I heard Grapevine was actually the output of the infinite monkeys theorem, the fact that he was posting on Charlton Life for a while means they are getting close to the complete works of Shakespeare.
A spokesman for the Author said earlier........... Grapevine is convalescing after the printed copies of his last 3 posts fell from his desk trapping him by the legs. Firefighters fought for two hours to free the distinguished literary genius using heavy lifting equipment, after a brief check up he was released and is now resting at home.
Grapevine is fine Soundas and has been online today.
Let’s all leave our Post Laureate in peace, he’s not a man for the bright lights and provides his masterpieces in the dimly lit basement of CL Towers amongst century-old dust-covered journals

I felt all warm and fuzzy for half a second there, imagining, in my slightly drunken state, that CL Towers existed.

Bloody musicians .... Huh
I’m just dead chuffed you referred to me as a ‘musician’ I’ve been waiting years for someone to call me that!
I rarely post these days as I do have one or two pressing issues to address like reestablishing my life in the UK post Brexit but mostly because quite simply the little grey cells are not what they once were and I am not sure I have more or anything new to add to the ongoing debates.
Across every topic of interest be it the state of the club, the travails of the team/ squad, the sale of the club, the Australians, the incongruous Duchatelet ramblings, the Brexit discussions, Mr Trump, the Labour Party, the Tory Government we appear to be locked in a never ending loop.
We seem destined to regurgitate the same issues, the same angst and frustrations as we almost wallow in a stagnant pool of largely the same repetitive arguments.
I do draft any number of comments but when I review their content I find sadly, for me, most often others have covered it before me (probably in a more concise fashion) or I have already said it, most likely twice, before.
My view of M.Duchatelets' "contribution" to the club remains the same as does his empowerment of the managerial, coaching and playing staff trying to deliver something tangible for us all to embrace.
Any comments today will reflect what I said in 2015, 2016, 2017. The names may and will change but the underlying culture and consequences remain the same.
I live in hope but with little expectation things will change in the near future.
I consider myself extremely fortunate to have lived through the better times at the club where no matter the challenges, successes and failures I felt part of a community comfortable in the knowledge we shared common values and ambitions.
It is glaringly apparent from the actions and words of the ownership of the club today no such values are in evidence. Professionally and personally the man offends me by his very presence.
For the time being I have more positive interests to pursue.

We need to collect together Grapevine's posts and produce a 'Concise Anthology of Common Sense'.
Roland might like a copy for Christmas.
