    Forest sign Pele - desperate measure from a once great club to sell shirts. They've missed at trick though because rumour is that RD is making a last ditch, similarly cynical, attempt to sign a striker for the same reasons - goes by the name of Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink

    I am told that bowyer will get all the money from the sale - if it happens - and ultimately it is bowyers call - he could say no but then you would have a player on your hands who has just lost out on over 3 times the wages he is currently being offered - the wages offered are at the top limit of the wage structure - the alternative is to bring in 2 strikers and i back gallen and bowyer to get this right when they bring in the replacements. If they can't get what they think is right with regards to replacements then i doubt they will let him go and may instead take the deal from rangers which involves him staying but only goes through in the summer if he isn't injured. Not all done and dusted yet

    To be fair the one thing everyone has been united on here tonight is that we trust Bowyer and Gallen.

    The fact that Grigg has gone for more to a league one club than a promising youngster who has scored 14 goals this season and gone to a prem club is a joke!

    Nobody is slagging him off, with a 6 month contract and knowing what we know you can understand the fustration. I hope Josh is a huge success here, and of course he will get a chance, but it seems a typical rd signing to me

    I know but there working to bring in people. Grigg would be great of course but they work with what they have.
