Sale of Players

If R.D wants to sell a player can they refuse by not agreeing terms with other clubs,or do they have to go.

Comments

  • The player can refuse to go.
  • They can. But it's unlikely they would.

"Since when?" asks Mr C Solly, SE London.

Obviously otherwise Ajose would have gone last season

Someone actually wanted to spend real life money on Nicky Ajose?

Does Lyle not want to go then? Hope so!
  • Of course they don’t have to go. As long as they are under contract they are entitled to stay and see it out.

Apparently, it was only £400k that we wasted spent on Ajose.

Always knew you had a soft spot, @blackpool72 .....

  • taylor, bauer would be the dangers of leaving in jan, you have consider taylor is 29 so only has maybe 3-4 years left of being at the fitness he is now
  • Am dreading January if you-know-who is still around - and I'm sure he will be. In most NORMAL clubs run by most NORMAL owners if a team is nicely situated in the play-off spot at Christmas and a manager knocks on the owners door and asks for money to give the team a realistic chance of promotion, then most NORMAL owners would get their cheque book out.
We, on the other hand, do not have a NORMAL owner. If Taylor is till banging in the goals and if BFG and Aribo are playing well, our ABNORMAL owner will be selling, not buying. Merry Christmas one and all!!
