Just found out that the stern faced actor George A Cooper passed away last week. Probably best remembered by most on here as the caretaker on Grange Hill. RIP

My memory of him is playing Mr Fisher, Billy's Father in the ITV series of Billy Liar in the early 70's.

Saw him recently in an episode of Public Eye did not know he had passed away. Also watched a few programmes of Minder on catchup,good series did not appreciate it at the time.
