Just seen on SS news that he has shrugged off his injury and will possibly start tomorrow. It will be good to see the old boy down at the Valley once more, just hope he dont play too well eh.

    i honestly can't think of any ex-player in the last 20 years that will get a warmer reception on return than Powelly.

    The great thing is, unlike when Deano comes back and gets all business-like, Powelly is going to absolutely love it !

    There are very few ex players that I'd applaud but Powell is top of that list. A true gent.

    Rob Lee was always welcomed back. Mainly because he was sold because we needed the cash rather than moved on his own accord.

    Can't we pressure the club to give something to CP in recognition of his service?
