Comedy legend and, IMHO, the definitive Miss Marple (admittedly on the radio, where the scripts are more truthful to the original books)
From Eth in Take it From Here in the 1950s onwards she was absolutely brilliant. Her work with Roy Hudd, in The News Huddlines and The Newly Discovered Casebook of Sherlock Holmes showcased a wonderfully talented and relaxed performer.
RIP June. Amazingly enduring and sought after comedic character actor and I thought she always had a playful knowing twinkle in her eyes. And when I was a kid I liked Terry and June too, glad I wasn’t the only one it would no doubt appear dated now, but I quite liked the ribbing of comfy suburbia on the verge of continual minor chaos. ( and memorable feem toon as well) A pretty amazing career all in all
(Edit: just watched a bit of Terry and June online, and have just realised OMG I’ve turned into Terry how did that happen? )

I used to love Terry & June as a kid . I would imagine it would look incredibly dated now but good memories for me .

"I tried it once and didn't like it"
