Certainly must be Jones as he was in the Ashes side that summer.
2005 is too early for Tredders, Saggers had been and gone by then (only lasted a couple of series) and that really only leaves Key from that vintage. He scored his double-hundred against the Windies in 2004 so he was probably still in the squad for the following winter/spring.
Kent beaten by Division 2 side, Sussex, in 50 over match at Stellenbosch near Cape Town. Kent scored 214 with Crawley being the top scorer. Sussex cantered home with 4 wickets and 11 overs to spare.

The Oval based 100 team will have Surrey AND Kent representation on its board. A lot of "talking" up of The Oval for Kent fans, but to be fair it is geographically very convenient for many Kent fans
Cricket season well and truly back folks, Kent are currently 31-6 after 14.4 overs in a friendly against Sussex. This is going to be a very very long season

I think we're trying to repeat last year's successful formula in the County Championship of batting like 8 year olds in the first innings and then morphing into Bradman in the second.

Sussex aren't bowling in a very friendly manner, damned rotters .
WICKET! @luke_wells07 breaks the partnership via the safe hands of @CJordan at slip. Zack Crawley's second knock ends on 60.
Kent: 192-9 off 61.4 (Blake 88*, Bell-Drummond 0*)
Not a "game" Adam Rouse will remember with affection - he managed to bag a pair in the same innings!
Given that Blake (105) and Crawley (60 in his 2nd innings) scored 165 of those runs and we have had only "batsmen" batting, it's a bit of a concern that so many of them have got out so cheaply.
Still rather now than when the season starts for proper and we do have Kuhn, Renshaw, Denly and Billings all missing for this.
Blake could hit 100 after 100 and he still wouldn’t make the red ball team. No idea why. Really hope he pushes on this year as he really is a fantastic player to watch

Kent will struggle without them.
Just saying.

To be more serious Ellison and Tavare?
He is 99* for the Titans.
Kuhn will be interim captain while Sam and Joe are away

I assume Sussex will pair up with Hampshire?
Dickson has been out twice before lunch!
Shame that's the former Kent player of that name and not the current one!
Blake 59*
Crawley 26* (2nd innings)

Tomorrow will be our turn to bowl
