So, once and for all, Tapestry, Between the lines, or Blue..?

can't make up my mind.

Tapestry all day long. Anyone that puts between the lines or blue in front on Tapestry is a complete cockwomble.

Saw CK perform Tapestry in Hyde Park couple of years ago.

Brilliant album but not as good as the devine Joni pouring her very soul out on Blue.

    Nicely put.
And take it from someone who poopoo points - perhaps that's the point...

    Still, Janis too....

Blue, Blue, Blue, Blue and err... Blue.

P.S. Both of the other albums are, of course, works of genius in their own way.

    Blue, obviously.

But Hissing of Summer Lawns is better.

Just listened to, At Seventeen, hadn’t heard it in years, nice voice but no.

Couldn’t really get into Tapestry or Carol King partly because my girlfriend at the time kept playing, It’s too late Baby. Was she trying to tell me something?🤔

So, Joni for me without a shadow of doubt!

Alright, she does wallow a bit, and the whole thing is sort of one paced and gets on your nerves when watering the garden with a hangover.
    So, I'm letting her go...
Yep, 'Love was meant for Beauty Queens'...

But judging by the theam of most of Janis Ian's songs we are playing right into her hand so she'll be back !!!

Tapestry : full of great hits, great writing, some nice touches of irony, slightly overly pontificated, slightly grovelling at times, emotionally pornographic at others, maybe less believable..?
    Love it !!!
'Doesn't anybody stays in one place anymore..?'

Blue: unlike anything else in its effect on me.
Without it, 'the bed's too big, the frying pan's too wide'...
