Well that was a rather sterile half. Highlight was Phillips treble save and the North Stand singing "Charlton's number 1" . Which of course is the number on his back.
If they lose today that will be 3 defeats in their last 6 games. Can see them blowing up big time.
Agree, thought they would from Xmas. Although still think they should stick around playoffs, will be a dangerous teams if they are as they are more of a cup side/ big game team
Lat man Sarr as the playmaker again and we are drawing the game back to our back line instead of trying to open them up by playing through their back line for taylor and Grant to chase down
We've not played badly just Accrington have done very well to put pressure on our players whenever we get the ball, means our passing has had to be more pinpoint which has been slow to ensure the right option is taken.
You'd hope that Stanley cant keep up those levels into the second half yet have been helped by a referee who has tried to give them everything whilst ignoring a neat wrestling move on Bauer which saw him dragged to the ground by his neck
Chances have been very few with their Goalkeeper already time wasting - Phillips has made the save of the match when the ball squirmed through to their wrestler who couldnt finish; best moment has been Sarr's throw in, giving it the big build up with the long throw prep and then does a short throw to Williams.
Certainly have the quality to win this, its a classic Lancashire / Mancs opponent though who are happy to sit back and soak up the pressure - Will definitely need a moment of quality to win it

45+1' Cullen takes the free kick, and @jonnym_13 leaps over a sea of bodies to punch the ball away. 0-0
Not too much to shout about in the first half and we go in goalless at the break. #cafc
