Just listening to Tom Robinson (in for Jonny Walker)sound of the 70's
Just played the Motors -Dancing the Night away.
Loved that song but never really sold and never know why.....

    There She Goes is possibly my favourite ever pop song ... just checked, it didn’t even reach the top ten. Crazy.

    There was a song called Saturday Morning Confusion by Bobby Russell in the early seventies.

    Never got in the hit parade but I thought it was really clever.

    Probably says more about me.

    Andy from The Motors lives in the village I grew up in and I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know him quite well. He’s a fantastic songwriter and recently released his new album!

    Vienna should have got to number 1.

    Ain't No Pleasing You - should have been a massive worldwide hit, but was hampered by the accents.

    Massively under-rated pop song: That's Love That It Is by Blancmange.

    I always thought Bill Nelson deserved greater commercial success, but given that his more popular records were always interspersed with the out and out avant-garde stuff I can only presume he never really wanted it.
