    Lou Reed notoriously a bit up and down as a live act, but arguably more influential than any on the bill, with the possible exception of the Who. 
    Somehow the Velvet Underground never sound dated, and Transformer is an all time classic album imho.

    I loved Lindisfarne but never quite took to the mark 2 lineup, who appeared that day. Saw the spin-off band, Jack The Lad, several times.
