Supporters rally on pitch 1983

Another photo from the big batch of photos that have come into the museum.

Supporters club rally on the Valley pitch 8 November 1983.

It must have worked as we beat Blackburn 2 - 0.

Anyone spot themselves? Anyone got any others?

Also pretty sure the guy holding a pole, just in front of the small "We  Love CAFC" flag was a supply teacher we had around that time at school. Think his name was John.

Not sure. Is it Les B or possibly Billy (can't remember his second name).

I am absolutely useless with names.

Tony is just waiting for a full name, he's got @Tom_of_SE9 on hold and will retrospectively issue a ban. ;)

Generally, whenever there was a camera, you would see Ian P bowling about with a big grin.  RIP mate.
  • Wayne P (Artful@dodger) behind Kev G. Mark Norris holding a pole and Benny I think from East Greenwich in the white. Got to say I was probably in amongst this but can't remember it at all....

Don't know about this particular picture, but a lot of such images will be Tom Morris's (and his copyright). As a courtesy you should at least ask him if it's his picture. If it is you would be probably be able to source a better quality of image than blowing up a print too.
