Ref-5 For a prem ref and one I've watched quite a bit, think he had an off day. Then again if I'm a prem quality ref and I'm sent to Wimbledon, I'd be apathetic too
At the game, been a while since I contributed to this thread
Philips - 7 - didn't have much to do other than the odd threat, felt his frustration in the first half with the defence losing shape on the counters Solly - 6 - second half was far better Purrington 6 - as with Solly, more presence in 2nd half Bauer - 7 - commanding Sarr - 9 MOTM - what a legend. Solid throughout and would have been a 10 if the didn't get the yellow card after scoring, think he was a little excited still. Cullen - 6 - Good work, growing back into the game Lapslie - 7 - liked his awareness on the wing in the 2nd half Marshall 6 - marmite again, better in the 2nd half and should have finished with the ball in the net at one point Aribo - 6.5 - grew into the game especially towards the end Williams - 7 - love this guy, just needs to work on his finishing but his ball control and running at players is just awesome. Too good at times for this league Taylor - 6.5 - good awareness and creative with the ball, still lacking a service to have a chance to score
Dijksteel - 5 - not enough time to grow into the game but done enough Fosu - 7 - switched wings with Williams when he came on which changed the flow of the game but grew in quickly Vetokele - 7 - had some good moments, so glad he scored considering how much support he was getting from crowd even before he came on
Ref - 3 - shocking, just really really shocking. Not sure what the original yellow card was for Bowyer but obviously showing a 2nd yellow straight away for dissent was just crazy to see
Philips 7 Caught the ball well despite the low sun Solly 7 Purrington 7 Bauer 7 Sarr 8.5 Cullen 6 (5 first half, 7 second half) Lapslie 6 Marshall 7 because he's getting into good positions, and plenty of shots Aribo 8 Wonderful today. Just needs a goal and some assists Williams 7 Taylor 7
Fosu 7

Like SDA, might adjust these marks once I've seen extended highlights, as the view was so poor in the stadium.
I missed the first half of the first half, and missed their goal, so may come back and revise once I watch it tomorrow. I suspect my marks will be higher than many because we weren't good in the bit of the first half I saw, and generally it sounds like we were pretty awful.
Philips - 6.5 - Not much to do. Solly - 6 - Meh. Seemed to be neither attacking nor in the best positions defensively. Purrington - 6.5 - Fine. The ultimate 6.5 player. Bauer - 8 - Wimbledon didn't provide a lot of threat but there was a lot of 1-v-1 defending he had to do with the ball in the air and he won everything. Made it look easy. Sarr - 9 - Same as Bauer, plus an absolutely brilliant free kick. Get in! Player of the Year. Cullen - 8 - Keeps things ticking over and got forward well at times. It's simple and not flashy but he's a very tidy footballer. Lapslie - 6.5 - Didn't notice him a whole lot, but he was tidy and worked hard. I've never rated him as highly as some on here, but he's really matured this season. His confidence has grown, he's adjusted to the physicality and pace of play, and he's shown some technical ability and calm on the ball I was worried he didn't have. Marshall - 6.5 - A couple of really good chances before being taken off. He does offer those out to in runs in behind from the right flank that we've so desperately needed the last year and a half. Aribo - 8 - We missed him. His strength and technical ability, plus his calm and composure in and around the box. Williams - 7.5 - Very skilled, technical, and intelligent player. Just needs a bit more end product. Taylor - 6.5 - Not a lot came off for him today. Missed a really good chance at a winner a couple minutes before Igor converted his chance. Won the free kick, but generally one of those days where he was more focused on winding up the defense than playing football.
Fosu - 6.5 - Thought he looked good, played with more confidence, and was denied a brilliant goal by Ramsdale. When he and Reeves are in the side we have players who can score from outside the box, and it forces defenders to come out, leaving space in behind.
Igor - 7 - Had two or three good runs in behind before the goal, and what a fantastic goal. Happy for him for the new baby. Happy that he has finally returned to the scoresheet in the league for Charlton.
Referee mark Dijksteel And Vetokele are both n/a and do not need marks
Not having that. Igor scores the winner. Of course he’s getting a mark.
Dijksteel also made a considerable difference when he came on - with three up front and CAFC finally having a run at them, Anfernee played an important part in our resurgence - an 8 from me.
Solly- 6... Didn't get forward any where near enough
Purrington- 5... Got roasted by waggy first half, sod all to do second
Bauer- 7
Sarr - 8.5... Believe the hype, have been a critic before but he was absolutely superb today. Was worried he was gone for the foul just after his goal though. Really think a back 3 could be the way to go, with Pearce and Bauer and stick marshall wingback
Cullen - 8.5... Shite first half, second half absolutely unplayable, thought he ran the show and probably shaded motm from Sarr, oozes class... Would like to see him in the middle with JFC
Lapslie - 6
Marshall- 5..didnt work for him today
Aribo - 5.5
Williams - 7.5... Different gravy, he is technically way too good for this league
Taylor - 6 cut the diving mate, you don't need to and its getting boring
Philips - 7: not much to do but another commanding performance Solly - 6: solid Purrington - 6: ditto Bauer - 6: got done a few times in the first half and struggled, although he was not helped by a central midfield which went missing. A much better second half Sarr - 8: a couple of rash challenges but his free kick was the game's turning point Cullen - 7: a poor first half when Wimbledon successfully pressed us high but a very good second, when he took control of the game Lapslie - 6: did ok but didn't really impose himself Marshall - 6.5: some good runs and trickery but a weaker end product Aribo - 7: anonymous in the first half but got and better better as the game wore on and his close control and trickery put real fear into the opposition Williams - 6.5: barely touched the ball in the first half but, once we gained control of midfield in the second, he made some very penetrating runs Taylor - 6: isolated in the first half but better in the second, when he had some support. I thought that Lyle had missed an open goal after half an hour or so, but it looks like the ball unfortunately hit George Lapslie, who was prone on the ground
Fosu - 7: looked dangerous and drew an excellent save from their goalie. We really need him to perform in the last 12 league games (and the play-offs, assuming we get there).
Ref - 7: I didn't notice him much, which is usually a good thing

Solly: 6 - Steady performance on his return
Bauer: 7 - Never really at threat from the Wimbledon Strikers, did well in the second half when we had a high line
Sarr: 8 (MOTM) - Would have given a nine but for the silly foul he gave away after his goal; really hope he stays longer than 2020
Purrington: 6 - Did well in Defence, solid
Cullen: 7 - Neat on the ball
Lapslie: 6 - Worked hard, maybe a tad hesitant when he was clear on goal yet reckon he will become a regular scorer from Midfield
Marshall: 6 - Would have gotten a 5 for that weak second half shot yet had a reasonable game
Aribo: 7 - Played well today, needs to take more chances
Williams: 7 - Similar to Joe really, needs to take more chances yet that one awful effort at the end shows why he doesnt shot more
Taylor: 7 - Played the lone role well at times
Dijksteel: 6 - Was surprised with the choice of bringing him on
Fosu: 7 - Much better today
Vetokele: 7 - Didnt really notice him but he got the winner so...
