43' Tireless running from John Marquis to get Rovers on the front foot high up the pitch. The ball ended up with Ben Whiteman whose shot was blocked en route to goal. 0-0 #DRFC#DONCHA
Fun half of Football yet glad we've made it to the half level to be honest
Dominated the first 10-mins in a way that made it look as though Doncaster were still recovering from their Shrewsbury defeat in midweek
They've slowly gotten their s**t together though and have controlled possession on the ball - We're definitely a threat but as the half came to a close it was definitely a case of roles being reversed from the opening stages; Bauer certainly my Man of the Match at the moment whilst Taylor has had the best chance to give us the lead, thankfully apart from a few offside attempts; Phillips has probably had less to deal with than his opposite number
Wastes the opening 20 minutes or so when we were totally on top but fashioned very little in terms of sights on goal. Doncaster have got increasingly to grips with us as the game has gone on. Needs a bit of a tweak at half time. Igor and Taylor playing too far apart from each other.
You can see the quality in the team, but they’ve been trying to walk it in. I think Igor in particular would benefit from much early crosses.
I thought Williams had the best start out of everyone in the opening exchange yet if anything that period showed exactly why neither him nor Cullen have more goals to their game with both more interested in getting the ball out for crosses instead of having a pop like what Bielik did when he forced a good save from their Goalkeeper
Bringing on Fosu might be a good option provided he's able to control the ball as there is loads of space for him to exploit
Unfortunately his form has been questionable this season and at the same time we cant afford to effectively go down to 10-men if he has another bad day
Williams seems a better fit for me this week. On the other hand Taylor not putting himself about so much. Team looks a good balance. Little width but down the middle is working ok. Solly and Purrington have come forward effectively at times. Cullen MOM so far, imo.
Once again Williams promises much but produces nothing. Another palace dud. Bring fosu on.
When he's gotten on the ball he's linked play well. He is not the problem; if anyone is it's the strikers. I think we're playing well; no need to change yet
Williams in this team is like simonsen in the 80's, far too good for those around him. Hope we get promoted and keep hold of him as with better players in the side he will be mustard.

I think we've either got a choice... - A slightly cautious Taylor (Plays every week) - All guns blazing Taylor (We lose him for Portsmouth and Burton)
Its especially frustrating as he only has to get through the Burton game without a booking and he skips the two match ban

Not having that. He's got some very skilful and cultured players around him today. He could do with some better strikers to latch onto his through-balls, as I say, but all of our midfield are very, very able - as good as anything we've had since we left the Premiership

In all honesty would take the point at this stage
