Worst ready meal you've had.

Just tried a 'no dough' pizza - truly one of the most disgusting things I've ever tried. Has a cauliflower pizza base which I find it hard to describe....

I bet there were quite a few bushes in it.
  • Ready made sandwiches.  Either too soggy or dry like cardboard

Serves you right for going to Scotland.
  • Andouiette in Paris.  Unknown or unmentionable animal parts in a sausage skin, and it wasn't a nice sausage skin.

If they were lumps of gristle then they were probably hardons.

My brother-in-law, who is pretty well off and has a taste for the finer things in life, loves Vesta Curry once in a while. I think it must be a childhood comfort thing?

Anyway, 1970's school dinner curry knocks Vesta into a cocked hat...
  • Is there such a thing as a good ready meal?
  • Co Op ready meals tend to be the best imo.

As for the camping food, that re-enforces my view on camping in general. How is it a holiday if you are experiencing such discomfort? A holiday for me is sitting in the sun, and enjoying great food and wine, in a beautiful setting. Something you dont want to come back from..... not chewing on a dried up spag bol dreaming of the food waiting at home....
