Parker in thank goodness. Backing him to score tonight. It's about as good a team as we can field

4-1 Nabby on the score sheet, you heard it here first.
  • Happy with that team.

Big opportunity for Fosu to regain a place in the starting eleven now that Williams is injured.

10 games to go would the perfect time to regain your form.

Team Addicks - who are cycling from London to Amsterdam in June - will be collecting for @ProstateUK at The Valley this evening.

Lee Bowyer has made four changes to the starting XI that beat Portsmouth for tonight’s game at home to Burton Albion.

Ben Reeves and Tariqe Fosu replace the injured Krystian Bielik and Jonny Williams, while Chris Solly and Josh Parker return to the side as Anfernee Dijksteel and Igor Vetokele move to the bench.

There is also a place on the bench for Jason Pearce after a spell on the sidelines.

The Addicks are expected to play their preferred diamond formation with Dillon Phillips in goal and a back four of Solly, Patrick Bauer, Naby Sarr and today’s programme cover star Ben Purrington.

Josh Cullen is likely to anchor the midfield after an impressive performance in that win over Pompey. Reeves and Joe Aribo will play in front of him with Fosu behind Parker and Saturday’s goal hero Lyle Taylor.

Charlton: Phillips; Solly (C), Bauer, Sarr, Purrington; Cullen, Reeves, Aribo, Fosu; Taylor, Parker

Substitutes: Maxwell, Dijksteel, Pearce, Pratley, Lapslie, Marshall, Vetokele

I hope many of you will be watching SSN tomorrow morning at 6am as they will be showing all the goals from tonight's EFL games. It will mean we have scored and won or else why would you watch it?

Greetings from Sunny Cornwall, where funnily enough right now it's pretty dark - but at least it's finally stopped raining.

Tonight we need 3 points. Let's hope the lads play as well as they did on Saturday.

And BTW Mr Bowyer ..... we're well overdue to score a sackful, as you keep promising.
Pull your finger out son - and make it happen!

    ;o)

    Following from Edinburgh tonight, COYR

  • Fear a leggy, lethargic performance from players and crowd alike after Saturday's brilliance. Would be very Charltonesque.

    0-0 or 0-1.

    Hope I'm wrong.

    Youuuu reds.

Best team available in my opinion, bearing in mind Igor is not fit enough for starting 2 games in 4 days at the moment. Big chance for Parker, I hope he looks better than his last first team appearance.

I have to say, I do fear an anti-climax after Saturday's bostin' performance. I have a nasty feel we'll go behind, have all of the ball but struggle to break down their massed ranks defence, eventually equalise from a set piece, and then concede a late sucker punch punch when chasing the winner.

Just watched Igor score about 10 goals in quick succession.

Can't believe he's not starting after that. Josh Parker must be really special.
