Hmmmmm. So does this mean one of us can go to a Millwall game, pretend to be a fan, then run on the field and push an opposing player, and get them a 9-point deduction? Okay, who is taking one for the team!?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, think you should read the thread. Point deduction nothing to do with fan on field!👣
Sorry, jumped the gun. I heard talk that morning on TalKSport that a 9-pointer was possibly coming for the fan running on the field and assumed it was it!
It's all such BS. Wolves lost at LEAST $50M over just two seasons (2016-17, 2017-18) but got away with it because they get promoted and by the time the financials come out, they are already up a league. This crap happens all the time.

Well obviously they got away with any sanction from the EFL, because they are no longer in a league governed by the EFL.

Yes but there has always been an obvious way around that which would limit more teams trying it.... let teams know that they will get a 9-point deduction the moment they re-enter the EFL their first season. Wolves, Brighton.... they are all coming back down, it's just a matter of time and they all know it. One year... 5 years. If teams know a strong double-relegation risks exist for clubs spending way over the limit, maybe less will so blatantly break the rules.

From memory, didnt QPR get their punishment once they were relegated back to the Championship and under the EFL again ?
If in 5 seasons would Wolves be punished by EFL if relegated as seeing by their signings they must have overspent ?
