I wonder why they chose to announce it now? It was always a matter of when not if after his brilliant start, though he still has work to do to ensure CL football for next year

they probably had more time to thrash out the final details during the international break and with him being so popular they will be hoping it gives the players a boost for the run in
He's earned it. Cue a loss of impetus, some disappointing results, an anti-climactic end to the season, a disastrous start to next and the sack in January 2020.
United must surely have paid Molde in order for them to do that though. Can't imagine they'd have just said 'yeah off you go then'.
Pretty sure that Molde were in the middle of their winter break which made it convenient for his caretaker role. They then said they wouldn't stand in his way if offered the full time position & (I think) cancelled his contract but Man u have since said they intend to pay Molde compensation.
Sky Sports pissing me off, the whole thing about this. Who cares?! We all knew he was going to get the job. Woop-de-doo, such big breaking news.
This is what I hate about modern day football, they make an Everest out of something so small when the rest of the world just doesn’t care. It’s all Premier League this and that, it’s not that good, calm down. It has some fantastic players, playing fast football that has a lot of goals. That’s not because the players scoring a lot of the time are out of this world, it’s because much of the league is awful.
Two of the top 6 teams in the English Premier League are in the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League, another two are in the semifinals of the UEFA Europa League. The other two are in Manchester. 🤣
